Inside a completely renovated villa, the apartment is located on the ground floor and has an equipped outdoor terrace ideal for dining and enjoying the fresh air in the evening. Internally, on the first floor, Varenna Paradise 1 consists of a large living room, kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower. One the lower floor, there is a depandance that consists of a double sofa bed and a bathroom with shower.
Always on the lower floor there is also a large garden, which is shared with the other guests of the house, while on the upper floor there is a private parking space. Furnished with simplicity and elegance, it has many comforts available to guests such as WiFi, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine and much more.
Varenna Paradise 1 is only 1.5 km from the lake, the famous Varenna, the train station and the ferry, with connections to and from Milan and all the lake center.

Great views with little comfort amenities, poorly cleaned.

While technically the listing is accurate about the apartment, we found very quickly that the apartment was further from town than expected, and taxis very limited. It is walkable without luggage on rough rocky path. Access is complicated with an outside gate with only one key, our group had to keep together. The ground floor has not been cleaned from the prior guests, bed unmade and used towels. Night stands had small layer of dust accumulation, kitchen handles were sticky. We had smelly trash in waste baskets, with no new trash bags - wanted to sell welcome package. First disappointing stay with a VRBO.

Une belle vue sur le lac

L’appartement principal se situe au 1er étage : il est très spacieux et agréable, avec un balcon qui offre une belle vue sur le lac. La chambre et sdb au rez-de-chaussée sont accessibles par un étroit escalier, ou par l’extérieur : mais cet espace est plutôt austère, avec un canapé-lit inconfortable, que nous avons renoncé à utiliser. Un sentier caillouteux permet de descendre en 15 mn à pied au centre de Varenna, la remontée étant plus difficile. Mais autant laisser la voiture au parking fermé que propose la location, car se garer à Varenna est compliqué.

Schöne Ferien mit Blick auf den See und viel Platz

Die Wohnung hat den Angaben und Fotos entsprochen. Der Ausblick ist wirklich ein Traum und es gibt viel Platz im Haus und auch im Garten. Leider war der Garten sehr verwildert und wirkte etwas vernachlässigt. Die Wohnung war grundsätzlich sauber, lediglich ein Bad im Untergeschoss wirkte nicht gesäubert. Leider waren auch Mülltonnen überfüllt als wir angekommen sind. Es sind ausreichende Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden, die Wohnung ist Hundefreundlich.

Great stay, wonderful views!

Our family of 4 loved the apartment. It had everything that we needed. It was very spacious and was great to hang out in the front room and on the balcony soaking in the views. We booked the place for the views and they didn't let us down. Communication with the property owners was easy. Would stay here again.

Incredible views

We booked last minute. The property has online checkin but we couldn’t get it to work. I believe it was because we had limited internet access. Upon arrival checkin was quick and efficient. The house is beautiful. Well maintained. Incredible views. Very clean. It was not set up for a party of 7. When we called the office, Francesca immediately made sure we got the bedding and towels we were shorted. She was most accommodating. The walk into town is a quick path cutting across the switchback road. We usually walked down to town and took a taxi back. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone. And would definitely stay here again.
