A Practical Apartment With A Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment and found it great value for money. We also found it practical with all the necessities required for our stay including: gas hob, oven, clothes iron, washing machine, television, coffee maker, fridge freezer, wifi, air conditioning etc
It was within a stones throw of the beach which was great for us and our 4 year old. There are plenty of beach clubs to choose from, but, we picked DLF as it was the closest and there is a breakwater which makes it nicer for swimming. When you come back from the beach there is a tap within the apartment grounds to rinse off the sand which is great.
We found the beds comfortable so always got a good nights sleep.
As well as being near the beach, the apartment is convenient for the train station with direct trains to the centre of Rome. We visited the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican and MAAM (street art museum) to name a few. The apartment is also a only a taxi ride away from a great winery Cantina Castello Torre in Pietra which is worth going to for a tasting and lunch. The apartment has cooking facilities but there are also plenty of great restaurants nearby such as Osteria Al Mercato, Risto Alimentari di Roberta Allegretti and Hosteria di Bacco to name a few. There are also a choice of supermarkets and daily market within walking distance. Our 4 year old also liked the playparks and fair in the centre of town.
The owner Miana was lovey and kept in constant touch resolving any issues we had and offering advice on the local area. If we return to Ladispoli we would definitely stay again
