Beach vacation

Great place close to everything and really a good slice of OB life. Nice interactions with manager and staff and other visitors. My kids and I had a great stay!

Enjoyed this cozy beach rental

To be honest, I was a little nervous about renting this property after seeing the 1-star review but I decided to give it a chance and I'm so glad I did! This is a great rental. The place was clean and had everything my family needed - towels, boogie boards, a kitchen with plates, utensils and cooking supplies. The pull-out bed in the living room was comfortable and fit my two sons (ages 5 and 7) perfectly. The TV worked fine and connected to Netflix, which was nice for post-beach downtime. The property manager was helpful and even made us sticks for roasting marshmallows in the fire pit - it was so fun! And the location can't be beat - I loved all the restaurants and stores in walking distance and of course, the beach!

The location was great, close to the beach and restaurants and shops. The Bungalow itself small but

The customer service was not good, and the manager was rude at times. It was advertised as having cable satellite TV, but there was no cable, no signal. Internet was extremely sketchy and we basically had none for at least two weeks. Then instead of calling in a professional they had different relatives come in to try to hook up the TV so we could get netflicks, if we used our own account. Even that was very sketchy, signal was off and on and for the last week that we had no signal at all!. Early on they compensated us with a massage at their Spa, but they never solved the problem, and we were there 7 weeks. It was extremely frustrating to not be able to even watch a movie in the evening. It felt like they were more interested in the spa business rather than customer service to the renters. I have stayed there before, and have a few problems but they always resolved it right away. This time was way too frustrating and I would never stay there again.
