Casa Cynthia is a unique one bedroom and one bathroom thatched and stone eco cottage nestling in the stunning rolling countryside situated mid way between the whitewashed towns of Vejer de la Frontera and Medina Sidonia, both less than15 km away.

More local is the small town of Benalup, and the small villages of Los Naveros and Cantarranas for authentic charm where you will find a local shop bar and pharmacy.

This romantic adults only cottage consists of a spacious living area with a fully fitted country kitchen with a fridge freezer, 4 ring gas hob, and all the utensils you will need.
The bathroom has a small bath with a shower over, toilet and sink.

The mezzanine bedroom has a king sized bed, (there is limited headroom in this area) with clothes hanging space and a fan .

The property sleeps 2 adults only.

Free WiFi is provided in the house and grounds, along with secure parking to the side of the property.

Stays over 7 days will have a change of bed linen and towels.

A washing machine is available at local charge to the owner.

The property is one of three homes on the grounds sharing a 7 x 3.5 metre pool.

The property is sustainable with solar energy and water from a tanker supply, bottled gas is used for cooking and heating the water.

The views to Vejer and the surrounding countryside are stunning and this along with nature walks, bird watching and star gazing along with peaceful tranquillity make this the perfect get away.

Beaches locally are El Palmar with pristine sands 25 km away from the property but many other gorgeous unspoilt beaches including Valdevaqueros near Tarifa are also close by.

The property is well located to visit Cadiz city, Jerez and Seville. Further afield are Córdoba, Granada and Gibraltar. If peace tranquility and nature are your vision, this is the place for you.

A car is required for this location, the cottage is 2km off the A396 main road, along an unmade rural road.

La casa Cynthia es perfecta para pasar unas vacaciones de desconexión en la naturaleza. Esta equipada con todos los de tales que puedas imaginar para nuestra comodidad y la pareja nos recibió con un Pack de bienvenida extra. Pudimos hacer uso de las zonas comunes sin problema siempre que quisimos. La pareja propietaria de la casa son un encanto, súper atentos y con predisposición de ayudar siempre. Nos recibieron com una sonrisa y nos fuimos nosotros con una más grande aún. La comunicación con ellos fue fluida aunque no hables inglés. Sin duda volveríamos a casa Cynthia otro verano

Hello my name is Liz and my husband is Peter and we are now both retired. We have a home in Hampshire and we have owned Finca Paraiso since 2005 and have enjoyed wonderful holidays here. In 2017 we did some major renovations to the 3 cottages, and have enjoyed sharing our special place with guests since then.
During the summer we live in one of the properties, so will be on hand to help make your stay memorable but without being intrusive.
We love the peace and tranquility, and the calm way of life along with the fantastic sunshine and varied activities in the area.
The area is very special being in a quiet location but within easy reach of small villages and larger towns.

Why they chose this property

This Casita with it's eco credentials, being totally self sufficient set in beautiful peaceful countryside has been our holiday home for many years. We have enjoyed watching the birds soaring overhead, we have got to know some of the local farmers, and we've walked up the hill behind the house many times. We see incredible night skies, when on clear nights the milky way can be seen. On Sundays we often have local cycling groups passing by on mountain bikes, or some nearby residents out on their horses enjoying the views. Our family have also been coming here for years, and now they bring their own children who never want to leave. We'd be delighted to share our piece of paradise with you.

What makes this property unique

We offer off grid, low carbon impact living, with spectacular views, in the heart of rolling farming countryside. Often the first sounds of the day is a tractor going up the lane, or some cows going the other way. This is real Andalucia, the accent of some of the locals can be almost impenetrable, but we do try to hold a conversation with them. We're close to many beautiful and historic towns, aswell as being accessible to many attractions available in nearby larger towns. For the adventurous, a trip to Jerez or Cadiz is easily managed, Seville too, or a longer trip to Cordoba or Granada is also possible. Tarifa the kitesurfing capital of Europe is only about 40 minutes away, well worth a trip for its eclectic mix of shops and a laid back lifestyle. Our pool is a huge attraction, and forms the focal point for those lazy stay-at-home days, perhaps with a barbeque to follow? You can really relax here, and enjoy a break that rests your mind and body, so you can return to your normal life with a smile on your face.
