About this property

Detached stone cottage in a lovely rural location. Has local shop and Bar in the village. It is 7km from local market town of Flers with many shops and restaurants to temp you. Cottage has been completely converted into modern and comfortable house. Fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge with small freezer. Dining table and chairs.
Spacious Lounge with two large sofas, plenty of books, games, TV with dvd player, connected TV to freesat for English TV channels, door to own outside back garden and patio area with patio furniture and outdoor grill area. Stairs to first floor 2 bedrooms, one with king and other with double bed plus guest single sofa type bed in second bedroom. Shared family bathroom with bath with powerful shower over the bath. All bedding duvets, towels are provided.

Nearby there is kayaking at Clercy on the river Orne, waterpark for swimming at Flers, Saturday market at Flers, a large tourist information centre in the town to keep you informed of all the attactions needed to make your stay very enjoyable.

Great place to stay

We had a great two weeks staying this lovely property. All ammenities required were provided. Communication with Wayne, the owner, was fast and super helpful. It was so nice to sit in the garden during the evenings and watch the sun go down. The house was clean and spacious, the provided TV had UK channels which was a nice bonus. Thanks.

Maison confortable, calme, disposant de tous les équipements nécessaires

Vacances clefs en main.... Le lieu idéal pour se reposer et découvrir la Normadie. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme, la terrasse extérieure sans oublier un accueil fort sympathique.

REPOSANT

Maison très agréable, calme, très bien aménagée, il n'y manque rien, sauf peut-être le Wifi 😉😀. Il y a des petits commerces de proximité pour faire ses courses et aussi des balades. Des petites attentions nous attendent le jour de notre arrivée. Merci Wayne et Kim, nous avons apprécié ce séjour en Normandie.

Landhaus in idyllischer Umgebung

Sehr schön renoviertes Steinhaus in ländlicher, aber nicht entlegener Gegend. Direkte Verkehrsanbindung an kleine Straße, ruhig und sauber. Die englischen Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam, Kontakt über chat oder Telefon möglich. Das Haus läßt nichts vermissen, im großzügigen Garten ist immer ein schattiges Plätzchen zu finden. Direkt vom Haus aus lassen sich schöne Spaziergänge oder Ausflüge starten. Danke an Wayne und Kim.

My wife and I have had a love of France for a long time , we bought our first property in 2001 in the Loire, with the help of friends and family totally renovated it, then we bought this stone cottage in 2007 and again with a lot of help from friends and family renovated so that it could be enjoyed by fun loving people looking for a lovely break, going back in time, relaxing and enjoying the fabulous Suisse Normandy countryside. Why they chose this property

It is set in a lovely little hamlet, and is a great place to relax. It is only 90 minutes from Ouistraham, which makes it very quick and easy when you get off the ferry. Lovely market, restaurants and atmosphere in nearby Flers, good range of shops and a swimming centre.
