Belle maison au pied des montagnes blanches avec des vues magnifiques. Les propriétaires Maria et Christos sont disponibles et très sympa. Endroit très calme pour passer des vacances reposantes. Nous y retournerons.

A wonderful place

We really enjoyed our vacation in this wonderful house. The views of the mountains on one side and the sea on the other are fantastic. Terrace, balcony, barbecue area, hammock in the olive grove, pool, herb and vegetable garden. The house is equipped with everything and lovingly furnished. Maria and Christos, thank you very much for your hospitality!

I love my village, i love the nature, the mountains and the perfume of the local herbs...
Me and my husband Christos have built a beautiful and functional villa in Melidoni village with all the comfors that travellers would like to find.
Our village Melidoni is an historical village hidden in the heart of the White Mountains which is a massive and beautiful mountain range full of herbs and cypress... the view from the location of our villa is unexpectable and beautiful.... the travellers who choose to book our villa will spend some days in a peaceful village , in the nature where the sky meets the mountains and the earth smells by the local herbs..

Why they chose this property

My mother was born here in this beautiful village and i spent all the years of my childhood at her family's home with my brave grandfather and my lovely and sweet grandmother... !!!!...i keep in mind and heart like a treasure all these moments that i lived here as a child....!!!...i loved to visit them and spend many days here during the summer or any other school vacation.....!!!!... i remember watcing my grandmother cooking for us tasteful traditional foods, feeding and taking care of the sheeps that they kept in the south fields around the family house where there was a sheep farm, collecting grapes from the vinery of my grandfother, feeding with my grondmother the hens and collecting the fresh eggs of the henhouse....!!!....during the winter when the olive trees that excisted and still excist in this olive grow had mature olives, me , my mother and my grandmother were coming here in the this olive grove that 'VILLA KASTANIA ' is built many decates after and we were collecting the olives...!!!!... and we arrive nowadays that a dream of mine came true... !!!...that 'VILLA KASTANIA' which i manage bons the past of my childhood with the present of having luxury and pieceful vacation in Melidoni village...!!!!....

VILLA KASTANIA is built on the foothills of Madares (White Mountains of Creta) on 500m. hight in a private and fenced field full of trees. Around the villa which is full equiped are four levels of yards, BBQ and a private pool , big gardens with flowers any any kind of tree that you could imagine ..Olive trees surround the villa .....all the fences and the yards are built of traditional stone.... the road leads straight ahaid to the paths that bring to the beauty of the White MOUNTAINS......
Inside the stone fences that protect our villa from anyone the travellers can walk around the gardens, take care of the flowers and the trees, taste their food or a glass of wine and relaxing near the private pool or in one of the four yards that sorround our home....
