Great views & a stones throw away from the beach !!
The property was really well equipped
The house is great however
you need to know that what you think you're paying for may not be what you get. We said that there were 4 people coming possibly 3, Sam the manager emailed to see if there were any couples, I said 1 couple.
On arrival we found that we only had 1 queen bed, then 2 singles in another room. the other half of the house was locked off.
We have rented at least 7 houses from Torquay through to Lorne and have never had some of the house locked off.
After this was 'sorted out', (read several txts and phone calls) we had a great stay.
The house is 3 house blocks then cross the road and there's the beach. As the surf was up, I walked to the beach to surf and surfski. the girls relaxed. The living room and lounge are rather comfortable.
A dream come true; the house is exceptional, beautifully cosy and perfectly situated!
Surpassed all expectations! Excellent location, beautifully presented, excellent facilities, very comfortable, would recommend this place to anyone!
Clean and comfortable beds. Great views and so close to the beach.
Nice neighborhood with steps to the beach
Serenity Torquay Ocean View is a spacious home with architectural flare. The kitchen is gorgeous and is well equipped for families and couples. However, most of the home's furnishing are dated and need replacing. For example, the leather on the living room coach is tired, its throw pillows smell, carpet in the bedrooms are worn/dirty, some of the walls have marks and should either be wiped down or painted, windows haven't been washed in some time, and the master room's mattress linens need a upgrade (although it's advertised to be a queen it should be a king for a house/bedroom this large). Bathroom towels provided are scarce and those that were provided were something I would expect at a two star hotel. Finally, the photos on Home Away are not the same as the furnishings we experienced so overall I was a disappointed for the price we paid. So unless things change, I would rather have stayed elsewhere.
Very clean and comfortable property
This property is well situated with every amenity you could want.
