We really enjoyed our 4 night stay with our grandkids at Fingal Farm.
Everyone enjoyed interacting with & feeding the animals. With outdoor hide & seek, grooming the miniature horses, hand feeding the alpaca or playing table tennis & such....the children never got bored..& neither did Grandpa. 😆
Relaxing and fun
The farm stay was absolutely everything we expected and more. Dealing with Rob was great. Very informative, easy to talk to and very obliging. It was an experience my party will never forget. The highlight for my guests was feeding and looking after the animals. I can highly recommend this stay and as a matter of fact I already have.
The last few guests have experienced a pesky Kookaburra that dive bombs the lounge window throughout the day.... He sees his reflection and thinks another male is in his territory! I think we have have found a solution, by sitting one of our many ornamental owls on the lounge at his favourite spot!
The drought continues, although we are better off than many. At this stage in 2019 we are tracking with lowest annual rain fall since records started in 1905. It is great to have guests to help feed the cattle, alpacas, and goats. Guests do need to check for total fire ban before using the outside fire pit....
Our new pool has been delayed till the new year, not enough water to fill it yet, but we installed an extra tank, so we are ready for the next rain.
The new solar panels (7kW) have been fantastic, we can now run the air conditioners this summer during the day without any greenhouse gas production!
Great short getaway
Everything a whole family needs away from home. Farm life, bushwalks, lake and beach visits, lazy afternoons on the verandah. Excellent!
Relaxing, great get away if you want to escape from busy life.
House was lovely and clean and had everything you need.
We will be back
Peaceful and relaxing getaway
The house was very comfortable, well equipped and spacious.
It’s a great place to relax and very peaceful.
If you love seeing loads of trees and bush this is perfect for you, unfortunately we would of preferred a more open atmosphere with a bit of a view.
Communication was great and access to the property was easy.
Kids loved all of the books and toys.
We are currently working on our new pool that we hope will be ready for the summer. Some rain would be welcome, not only to fill the pool but to get the grass growing! ... During winter it has been great to have guests staying to help feed the Dexter cattle, little horses. Mario the alpaca and goats, especially when there is not much feed in the paddocks.
Fantastic farm stay
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at fingal farm. I was after a genuine farm experience with the opportunity for the kids to get close to & interact with the animals & fingal farm certainly delivered this & more. Would highly recommend to others.
Great walk/view/ruins up Alum "Mountain",
