Absolutely gorgeous property, but the money paid to stay should go to upgrades on the camper. The windows did not open so there was no air flow and no AC. Even though staying on the property, we were not allowed to use the pool.
I am so sorry that you didn’t notice that the Airstream did not have AC or that the pool was not offered before you booked. Unfortunately, back in 1965, the manufacturer of Airstreams didn't offer windows that open wide due to the constrictions of the road while traveling. We have had the Airstream rented since June 2016 and have not had anyone complain about the lack of airflow. I assume that is because there are two vents in the ceiling, both with fans and a screen door that should allow cross ventilation and plenty of airflow. Had you said something I would have pointed them out to you.
As for not allowing you to use the pool when you asked, I see now that you are upset. Forgive me for not making the insurance liability issue more clear. The pool is not included in my listing with VRBO therefore I would not be covered. Nor will my home owners insurance cover me because you are a VRBO guest. Again, apology for not making this clearer and hopefully avoiding your upset.
Happy to offer you a free nights stay
Cute little get away
This Airstream trailer was just charming. Sort of like staying in a boat but not as damp. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We were visiting family and have a dog and we were able to have a small gathering outside the trailer and let the dog roam without a problem. We did have a bit of trouble contacting the owners but were able to locate the trailer (which is behind the winery FYI) and the door was unlocked so we just let ourselves in. Another detail we should mention is the potty is liquid only so for anything else there is a short walk to the winery wash room. For the price it was a great location and fun "glamping" experience and should we be back in the area we would certainly stay there again.
Thank you for the nice review and we hope you come again!
Fun experience in a beautiful setting.
The vintage Airstream set under the trees in a vineyard is a great setting. Everything we needed for a cozy weekend was provided. Owners were accommodating and responded to messages quickly.
Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to give us a review
Hope to see you again
Unique experience, lovely environment
We needed a quiet spot just for one night and were very pleased with our stay amongst the grapevines. When I tried to book this airstream it had already been rented for the night I wanted, so Delysesh offered her other RV on the property for the same price, which was greatly appreciated. We arrived later in the evening and although never met Delysesh, John greeted us and was attentive- he provided extra pillows and offered us a bottle of wine and their pool and hot tub to use which was beautiful! The RV was clean and although sparsely stocked with essentials, it was a very nice stay for the one night. The grounds are beautiful and quiet and we all had a restful sleep. I wish we could have stayed longer but we would rent this place again for sure. Thanks Delysesh and John!
Thanks for the nice review

WIshed it could have been better
This airstream sits on some beautiful property, unfortunately it only made our stay mildly better.
Owners are not very responsive. We sent several messages way in advance, got nothing back. When they finally responded, they communicated a relaxed attitude about contacting them whenever we were close by and then on the day of our arrival, asked us to come in earlier so they could make their dinner reservations(?). We felt terrible because we were traveling with 2 kids and driving through a lot of traffic so our navigation had already been set. But we did our best. (It may have been a misunderstanding but they did nothing once we got there to clear the air.)
Upon arrival, the airstream is as pictured, but the sheets were musty, packed away, there was a fitted sheet missing and the sleeping areas do not look that "fresh," so it's more comfortable with a full set of clean sheets. There was a full trash bin of left-over trash and there was just a general sense of "you get what you get". Not a lot of TLC to the place. No sense of care had been put into hosting us. And considering our tense phone call, it would have been nice if they had at least greeted us and just said, "welcome" since they were on their way out and had to open the gate for us.
Anyhow, we stayed one night only even though we paid for 2. Our 3 year old son did enjoy the experience, wished it could have been a more enjoyable one for us.
