Unique property with stunning views close to everything on offer
Why laura chose Coorabell
Bluewater View offers a unique setting with a magnificent indescribable view of Byron's green hinterland to the blue ocean and north up the coast. A few minutes drive and you are at one of the many beach choices in Byron or the area. It is also centrally located to visit the several towns of Byron, Bangalow, Brunswick Heads or Mullumbimby in the Byron Bay shire. The house is appointed with comfortable and stylish furniture and a beautiful and interesting art collection from around the world. The garden is full of flowers, fruit and nut trees. Mango, macadamia, lime, lemon, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, are some of the choices. Flowering tropical plants abound in the garden. In winter there is a beautiful open fireplace in the living area. The life style is open plan with large glass doors sliding open onto the outdoor dining/sitting pavilion and the view. There is a wide variety of birdlife, soaring eagles at times, the occasional wallaby, water dragons, green frogs and a resident bush turkey.

We had a very relaxing time so peaceful and nice
A lovely home away from home in a beautiful part of the North coast with so much to visit nearby. Thankful for the hospitality.
Thank you very much for coming to stay, you are lovely guests.
Amazing Views, beautiful home, thank you for our lovely weekend, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay!!We had a wonderful relaxing time!
Thank you, it was a delight to have you stay. Wonderful to host you.
We stayed here for our family trip and we had a lovely stay here. The rooms were well equipped and both had a wonderful view of the countryside and ocean.
Thank you Joanne, it was lovely to host your family.
Great but needs some improving
Yes beautiful views but a few missing details that would make experience a whole lot better. Its was very hot for our stay there were no air cons or ceiling fans no screens on doors so you let fresh air in and a million bugs which made I quite uncomfortable. Meant to be dog friendly no fences and on a busy road ! Parking difficult not enough room. Needs attention to detail as in bathroom no mat n ensuite or shampoo ,a proper shower gel and nice shampoo makes a difference .A coffee machine would be a nice touch,as this is not a cheap property these things need to be looked at view alone is not enough comfort is expected.
I am sorry you experienced a hot stay. I will install an overhead fan asap. There are 3 room fans. The property is pet friendly as pets are allowed and in the house. I ask people to bring a long tie but you didn't. The property has cattle fencing and a rock wall behind the house as well. Many dogs come to stay happily. The other complaints made no sense to me as there are bath mats in both bathrooms along with shower gel and shampoo, you used a lot of it. The driveway can park 4 cars abreast easily. It is not an expensive holiday property. Quite modest actually for what it is.
House was nice and clean, and the view was amazing. We very much enjoyed our stay :-)
Thanks so much for coming to stay!
Lovely home but needs some work
Whilst we loved the location and the house/garden layout, there are a few things not in its favour. We would have liked to be told there were no barriers for the dog inside if we had the doors open. The house was all open doors (not windows) so if we wanted the doors open, our dog could escape. We could easily have bought some childproof gates or barriers had we known. Instead, we sweltered inside at night. We put the fans on but they were incredibly noisy to sleep with.
There was a continual smell of urine in the non-ensuite bathroom. There were also lots of cockroaches which we sprayed each evening. Can you please purchase a draining rack for plates and a cutlery container for the dishwasher.
Thanks Laura, I hope this feedback helps.
I appreciate the feedback, I believe it is up to the dog owner to organise their individual pet needs. Most dog owners haven't wanted barriers. You had a long lead and I don't understand why you didn't attach your dog to it. We should have communicated prior to your arrival about the barriers.
It was a unusually hot day of 34 degrees and I felt bad about the weather you experienced while you stayed. There are large windows which open all thru the house as well as doors and fans. In the bedrooms there are floor to ceiling windows. All the rooms have screened windows. Thankfully, that weather is rare here. We are up high and almost always have a cool breeze.
There is a cutlery tray in the top shelf of the dishwasher. I am sorry you didn't see it.
I will put out new cockroach traps.
I have been in the main bathroom and there was no smell. It gets cleaned on an average of three times a week. But I will investigate further.
Minyon Falls is a beautiful waterfall set in the bush and rain forest, Mt Warning is a dormant volcano and a day's walk to the pinnacle thru the bush
