Ned's Place features open-plan living and dining; a covered outdoor entertaining area, with a BBQ; plus a 2-car remote-controlled garage. There is a high chair and portacot at the house, as well as lots of CDs, DVDs, books and board games, making Ned's ideal for families. The kitchen includes pantry essentials and the house comes equipped with everything you could need to make your stay a relaxing one, such as maps and tourist information. Linen, bathmats and tea towels are also included.

Ned's Place is opposite a park on a quiet, tree-laden no-through-road, yet is still close to local public transport routes, as well as all of the nearby amenities and attractions, including Australia's premium wine-growing region and some of the best beaches in the country! The property is nice but tired. It’s close to Caves Road so some traffic noise. No air conditioners, only fans and it was hot. Mattresses are terrible, particularly in the main bedroom. I ended up with a sore back from poor quality mattress. I had to see my physio when I got back home. The window treatments aren’t adequate when you visit in summer. No heating in the winter. The garden is uncared for and kitchen utensils barely adequate. Overall an expensive, disappointing property.

Dunsborough Beach house
Great house, we loved bringing our beloved pooch on holiday with us, and walking to the beach every day. We will definitely be back. (Backyard could have been swept, and Lawn needed to be mowed out back, and perhaps a few extra garbage bags, cling film, salt etc would have been great).

I am from London originally but have been living in WA for over 20 years now. My husband is a born and bred local. We spend a lot of our time in the South West of the state.

Why they chose this property

We've always loved Dunsborough and after a particularly special holiday in the area decided to purchase this property to allow us to return more regularly and to also share the area with others!

What makes this property unique

We love the peaceful location of Ned's Place, opposite a park and surrounded by trees, and always enjoy the lovely stroll to the nearby beach, which is our favourite spot to watch the sun go down. We also love the light and cosy feel of the house and that it's so easy to lock up and leave. The fact that there's a winery in walking distance helps too!
