The perfect location with everything we could need.
Excellent location, close to city centre and attractions. Very comfortable, shabby chic cottage. Wifi patchy which unfortunately was an important factor to our stay. Parking off road is tight but a parking permit is also available.
thank you Gillian for letting me know you had a problem with the WIFI. I was unaware that it was patchy and have arranged for the computer man to bring a booster which should improve the reception regards Rosie
A fantastic little hideaway
Very much enjoyed our time at Athelney Cottage. Great location and the cottage was very much what we were looking for. Highly recommended and would stay there again.
We had a trip to the football planned so the location was fantastic as we were able to walk there. Easy access to facilities such as shopping and dining. The property was secure and it would have been a great place to stay with a small/medium dog.
thank you for your review Athelney Cottage is a pet friendly BNB Sorry you couldn't stay longer regards Rosie
Quiet and comfortable cottage for our longer stay
Athelney Cottage was perfect for our 2 week stay in Adelaide. Comfortable, quiet and well located for our hospital visits, catching the free bus loop, trams and walking through the parklands, Botanic Gardens, and North Terrace. If you are not going out of town you probably don't need a car, but off-street and on-street (permit) parking were much appreciated. The cottage is very close to The Fringe venues too. There is a good sized fridge-freezer, washing machine and dryer and outside hanging line, well-equipped compact kitchen, good shower room, and split-system airconditioner in main living/bedroom . Rosie provided lots of breakfast provisions. Local Coles supermarket at St Peters is a drive away . There is a Woolworths petrol station on nearby Hackney Rd, where you can get milk etc. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend.
Thank you Ann for your complimentary review of Athelney Cottage. This time of year it is right in the thick of the Fringe Festival and the Adelaide Festival Womad and the Superloop 500 and as you say walking distance to it all we enjoyed having you both to stay regards Rosie
A charming home
Athelney Cottage provided a comfortable and lovely home for our visit to Adelaide. Rosie was very accommodating and has taken great care to create a welcoming space for guests.
