Very nice property. But annoyed about hidden charge for 1 night stay
The house was very nice and check-in went very smoothly. However an additional fee was requested after I had already booked. Whilst the booking page mentioned we would have to pay a premium, it did not say how much and I assumed it was included in the amount I initially payed, but a day later I got an email requesting the additional fee. Include this on the booking page please!
Could use some TLC
House was not clean when we arrived, probably was awesome in the 1980s but is a little tired now. Close to all the natural wonders of the Grampians. Watch out for all the extra fees. Had Kangaroo's outside the window in the morning :-) Stated in the booking that we would have 3-4 people, only had 2 sets of sheets. When questioned said it was too far to fix, charged us for the 4th person, however we never got the bed sheets.
The initial booking indicated there may be an extra guest coming which was to be advised. The owner contacted you prior to your arrival to confirm the number of guests however no reply was given for extra guests.
The booking page states that linen is supplied for $15 per person.
Beautiful, easy place to stay.
Only problem was we booked for 4 adults and they just assumed it was two couples but was actually a girls weekend so we only had two double beds made up. Other beds had no sheets or pillows. Would be nice if these questions are asked. And also would be nice if fire box was full so we didn’t have to do it ourselves on a relaxing weekend away.
Lovely place to stay and relax.
Had a fantastic relaxing time with my family from Ireland.
Comfortable and homely
We enjoyed our stay. Heater was a bit temperamental but open fire was lovely. The house is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen.
It was a good location with adequate facilities. Fire was hard to get going and heater noisy.
Located in the Grampians National Park in a quiet natural bushland setting. Close to hiking trails, waterfalls and scenic lookouts such as Mackenzie and Silverband Falls, Pinnacle, Reids and Boroka Lookouts and Mount William (highest point in the Grampians)
