About Scott Wong
We are two new "empty nesters" looking forward to living permanently in our Santa Fe home. For the next few years we will open up our house to guests during the times we can't be there ourselves. We've recently returned to the USA after living in Thailand for almost 11 years and we're excited to be closer to family and friends.
Scott Wong purchased this House in 2011
Why Scott Wong chose Historic Eastside
It is simply a comfortable and unpretentious home set in a beautiful and peaceful area close to downtown. What's not to like?

Santa Fe getaway
We had a group of 8 and the house with casita were perfect. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Beautiful sun rises and sunsets from the patios. Definitely coming back
Wonderful Experience in Santa Fe
Our group travels all over the country staying in VRBO homes and this is one of the best. The accommodations fit our group of 10 (non family members) comfortably with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. We enjoyed the wild life, having a fire and watching the stars, plus all the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook our meals. The location is perfect, being close to the square and yet feeling like we were in open spaces. Great home to stay in while visiting Santa Fe.
Delightful home for our multigenerational family get together
Casa Nova and it’s Casita was the perfect hub for our family gathering of 10 people, ages 6 to 80. We slept well, cooked and ate together in the well equipped kitchen, played board games, relaxed, and walked into town.
The dwelling is an excellent venue for a group to spend time together, as well as to relax in quiet and comfort. Bonus: the prolific apricot tree!
Wonderful home for our group of 10. The house is well appointed and the patio is the perfect place to enjoy all your meals or read a book! Just a 20 minute walk from the plaza. Really ideal for our weekend.
The Best of Santa Fe
The house is perfection, the grounds are truly gorgeous and the location cannot be beat. You’re close to everything - yet feel as if you’re away from it all.
A very special place!
Large home with casita
Spacious home that is decorated nicely in southwestern decor. Yhe owner is very responsive to questions. We had a little trouble locking the french doors, but eventually mastered it. Beautiful view of the mountains.
Our house is located less than 1 mile from the downtown Plaza and closer to Canyon Road. It is an easy walk for most people in good physical condition, but the altitude (the elevation at our house is 7200') makes it harder to catch your breath if you aren't acclimated. The elevation at the plaza is 6955'. This 245' difference is about the same that you experience walking up Canyon Road to visit the art galleries. If you go slowly the walk will take you 30 minutes downhill and 45 minutes to return...well worth the time. When my parents visit (mid 80's), they walk downhill from the house to the Plaza and we pick them up near Loretta Chapel.
