Great place to stay for a beach holiday
Unfortunately the fires surrounding the area devastating however the town as always is a wonderful place to be
Thank you Melissa, luckily Tathra was spared fro the fires this time ,I am glad you enjoyed your stay.
Tathra is indeed a unique and beautiful place.
Great location. Convenient, spacious, comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and had ample living space on two levels. It overlooks the beach at the front and a shady garden at the back. Hopefully the oven will be fully operational for the next guests.
Property is a bit tired and needs some work.
Not properly listed as the 5th bedroom has to be passed through to get to the downstairs toilet and laundry. (Not ideal)
The down stairs courtyard needs a cleanup, it has an upside down marque in it which has pierced the fence and the surrounding garden is over grown and dirty. The pegs on the close line are plastic and mostly broken. The dials on the oven fall off. The downstairs outside light switch sounds like its shorting out, you should have a electrician look at that. The upstairs shower rose doesn't stay up no matter how hard you tighten it. All the windows need a clean on the outside due to the salt air. The temporary power board and lights setup in the upstairs bathroom probably does pass electrical inspection. Obviously the main attraction of this property is its location and view however the placement of large growing coastal banks in the garden outside the front windows will soon overgrow that. This property obviously started life as something else and has been added to overtime and morphed into what you see today and probably would not pass modern day building inspection. An example is the added staircase which is half covered over by the walkway to the upstairs bedroom. It could be so much better with a bit of money spent on it to dress it up a bit.
