wonderful bush escape
Was a wonderful weekend away. Beds are very comfy all with lovely bush views. The fire place was wonderful and kept us warm and cosy all weekend. Dennis was wonderful and communicating with him in the lead up to our stay was quick and easy. Would definitely stay again.
Thanks for your wonderful review and thanks for leaving the house in good condition. I am sorry I did not get to meet you but I did meet the first guest that arrived and I try not to get in the way of my guests enjoyment of the property.
Really loved being situated in the bush amongst the trees and kangaroos! Lovely place!
A child friendly place. The fireplace was well stocked with dry wood! Loved watching the birds and the Roos!
Just sorry we couldn’t stay for longer to enjoy the surrounds and amenities better!
Future renters, if you’re stopping by Bowral, best to get your supplies there before heading in ^_^

Great family weekend away at Grey Gums
Wow! What a great stay my family and I had at Grey Gums. Dennis and Helen surely have the perfect property in Kangaroo Valley. We were there for a family wedding and the house was the perfect size for our family of 6 adults. We had the fire going and it warmed up the entire house. The beds were very warm and comfy, the bathrooms large enough to cater for several adults. I definitely would recommend Grey Gums to any family or group of friends visiting Kangaroo Valley. Dennis was a fantastic host, great communication throughout and greeted us upon our arrival. Would love to stay again!
Thanks for your great review Megan, we appreciate it! It was nice to meet you, too bad you were so busy with the wedding as there is lots to explore and do in Kangaroo Valley. We hope you can return to Grey Gums and see more of Kangaroo Valley.
An idyllic spot with vegies growing at the back door, visiting kangaroos/wallabies, a wombat, delightful bush sculptures and plenty of firewood and kindling for our evening fire.
The house was sunny, spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and the water hot!
We enjoyed our trek into town and back. We hope to return next year. Thanks to our welcoming hosts.
Kangaroo Valley is nestled in the mountains near the coast and has many natural and man made attractions. There is a large lake for fishing, swimming and non-motor boating/canoeing, national parks for walking sightseeing with many streams/waterfalls/canyons, wildlife abounds. There are also many cafes and other shops, horse riding, golfing, tennis, etc.
