This warm, romantic cabin sits in the tranquil Pleasant Valley just 15 minutes from Old Town Fort Collins. Enjoy relaxing by the stream flowing in the backyard. In the evenings, after a barbecue, spend some magical time gazing at the stars and moon. Inside the cabin, you'll find hard-wood floors and ceilings, leather couches, and a fully equipped kitchen. Stoke up the pellet stove and watch a movie or retire for the evening on a bed of comfortable linens.

This property sits in the foothills of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. It's just a quick drive or bike ride to downtown Fort Collins or CSU. Don't miss the many local breweries, including the famous New Belgium Brewery and O'Dell's Brewery. It is also less than 1 mile from Horsetooth Reservoir. Enjoy boating, paddle-boarding, jet-skiing and kayaking at Horsetooth. For mountain bikers, world class trails in Lory State Park are minutes away. If you enjoy hiking, trails are just above the property and in nearby Lory State Park. You can also bring your horses and take them just 3 miles up the road to experience beautiful trails and scenery in Lory State Park. Lory also boasts an Equestrian Cross Country course.

Within an hour, you can be in Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park. The nearest ski area is an hour and a half away. This property is perfect for a summer or winter getaway that is not too far from town!

The pavilion and outdoor kitchen, located next to the cabin, are for available for an additional rental fee. We do rent the space for smaller gatherings such as wedding rehearsal dinners, retirement parties, corporate meetings, graduations and birthday parties. Amazing Retreat

The cabin was gorgeous and very well stocked. We easily checked in, made meals and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. It was so quiet and peaceful- we can’t wait to go back!

Comfortable cabin near great hiking

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was really cute and comfortable. The pellet stove was easy to use and made the chilly nights really cozy. The beds were really comfortable too. We loved hiking in beautiful Lory State Park which is about 5 minutes away. Communication with the owners was super easy and they were very nice and helpful.

Badgers go to the mountains

The cabin is amazing, beautiful views, very clean, and comfortable beds! We were visiting our son who lives in Fort Collins. Love sitting outside listening to the pond/stream and watching the geese and ducks! The property owners are very friendly!

Beautiful cabin in an excellent location

Everything here was better than we imagined, based on the pictures and description. The cabin is really awesome, every little thing has been thought about. We loved the outdoor space (and the geese and ducks) and the location is excellent. Closeby the city center, but still just outside the busy area's. Everything is closeby and in easy reach. The owners were quick to respond and were excellent hosts. Do not doubt when you see availability !

Co peace and quiet

We had a wonderful stay at Cross Creek. The hosts were accessible, and not nosy. The cabin was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed hiking and sightseeing and spending time in Fort Collins. I was concerned about the single window AC unit. But even though the temps were in the 90’s during the day, the cabin stayed very comfortable.
