It is a nice place to stay the location is good, fairly close to the beaches and shops, and communication with owner was quick and easy. In saying that there was a a few downsides with the apartment too. The first thing is that it looked a little bit bigger in the pictures, and we found a few ants in the kitchen during the first morning and a few spiders hanging around at night near the toilet area. Additionally, the bathroom and toilet room connected to some sort of garage and so there wasn’t much of a view out the window. Overall, it was a good stay and a cute apartment to stay in for a couple of days that is close to surrounding beaches and shops.
Lovely spot and lovely people!
Such a great property to stay at! Would definitely stay again!
Great communication and assistance!
My wife and I stayed for a wedding at Whale Beach and this property was very conveniently located and had everything we needed. Jacqui was fantastic and made sure we were taken care of. Would stay again.
Beautiful apartment in Avalon
This beautiful and spacious apartment in Avalon is perfect for exploring the northern beaches and peninsula area. The property is absolutely lovely: clean, cosy, really well-equipped, the breakfast basket is fantastic and Jacqui is a very thoughtful hostess. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to visit again!
Escape to the beaches
Beautifully decorated apartment with everything you could possibly need. Great location!
There are many beautiful surf beaches in the area with rocks pools for swimming. As we are on a peninsular, Pittwater provides many safe beaches for children. Clareville Beach which is a short five minute drive is paradise for children with a shady BBQ area. The Palm beach ferry can take you to The Basin which is in Kuringai National Park, here you can relax for the day with a picnic, a safe lagoon to swim and meet some wildlife including Goannas and kangaroos. A two minute walk from the apartment will take you Alfonso's café where you will meet the guitar playing Italian food extraordinaire that holds a woodfired pizza party every Friday night and a Paella lunch on a Sunday, it is recommended to book as this is very popular with the locals. Alternatively you may wish to go for a ten minute stroll down to Careel Bay Marina where you can sit and watch the activity on the water, hire a paddle board and grab a coffee. There are often markets at Palm Beach and Avalon and a great Farmers market every Friday at Warriewood, approx. 15 minute drive. The new B Line bus direct from Sydney stops at Mona Vale but there is a transfer link that goes from Palm Beach through Avalon, Keoride can be booked for a small fee
