About Roxanne Hopkins
Love farming and animals, gardening and into organic primary production, making home produce- jams and preserves. Our farm was a dairy farm for most of its life with rich and fertile soil surrounded by rolling hills placed perfectly in a "Inglewood" hence its name. My love for the earth, the grass and animals and its beauty that surrounds me makes me feel the luckiest person in the whole world.
Roxanne Hopkins purchased this Farmhouse in 1991
Why Roxanne Hopkins chose Candelo
"Inglewood" farm was settled in 1864 and has been a dairy farm all its life in the beautiful Candelo village. The beautiful main homestead and other farm home- Berowra cottage was built from timber milled on the property and has weathered all types of weather. The old farm trees were planted by the original owners "Solomans" who loved the English gardens and hence we have the oldest pin oak tree, Port Douglas fig trees, coral trees, pine trees and other large beautiful trees placed around the homesteads. Farm life continues on this working farm where beef production, lamb and wool is its main primary production.
What makes this Farmhouse unique

You will only here the sound of the rain on the tin roofs or wake to the roosters crowing in the morning....sorry natures beautiful natural "wake up calls" for the start of the day..... Rest & Recreation is what our farm is all about......
