What a beautiful time we had a Star No 5! From the moment we walked in we were taken by the space, the luxury, and that view. Breathtaking.
Beautifully clean, perfectly furnished, the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and dining on the terrace was our favourite part of the day. We will be back.
Outstanding views in spacious apartment.
We had the most wonderful stay at the apartment. Amazing view and very spacious place. The pool and water slide was fun for the kids too. Couldn’t be happier.
Stunning Views & Amazing Resort
The views are breath taking (photos just don't do it justice). Well appointed accomm - kitchen (platters, wine glasses, plastic plates/glasses for kids, 2-3 TVs, nice towels & huge spaces). Great for families, groups & couples as the space is huge (space between bedrooms & living areas with 3 bathrooms). We travelled with 2 adults, 3 kids (12, 8, 5) & Nana stayed 1 night (she was fine on her walker with lift access from carpark, 3 steps to the very short walk to pool & she could get into pool with the walk in area). Unit is clean & light. Furniture is in keeping with resort (not ultra modern, but tasteful).
The resort itself is amazing; Bob the manager is so friendly,
- pools (2-3) are great for families & kids (walk into pool with gradual incline, slide, spa that spills some warm water in so it takes the chill off the pool, plus indoor heated pool). No. 5 has the best access to the pool area, & you can see the pool from the unit's side balcony & peaking around the main balcony (so you don't hear the pool noise).
- Resort Cafe is pool side with swim up bar (kids had a milkshake) & outside (shade & sunny seating). Owner has started to do Cocktails, which we enjoyed. Lovely breakfast & lunch if can't be bothered to do the short 5 min hill walk to the shops/cafes of Terrigal (there is a large general store with all your needs on the Esplanade).
- No. 5 - Private Unit in the Best spot - because this unit is on the ocean side with a balcony that isn't right under another unit you feel as if you are in a private house. Resort has front access to street (no need to pass through the resort/reception; you just slip out your door past the pool down a beautiful garden/waterfall path to the front gate with card access to the path that leads you to town & beach (left) or to the skillon/marina/park (right). As well as Resort Cafe doing a great breakfast i'd also recommend many of the cafes, but if you like (can handle) a hotel buffet - Seasalt Crown Plaza opens to the public for their buffet (4.3 star).
- Position - as above. Lots of great restaurants & Cafes (try & do a bit of research so you can book in the highly rated eateries ie Reef, Cowrie, Rhondas, Seasalt). Because the Unit had a huge nice outdoor table & lounge we had a bfast, lunch (resort cafe can deliver) & afternoon grazing platter. A storm hit one evening (spectacular lightening show) we grabbed some seafood & ate on the large indoor table which was lovely.
We'll be back for a 5 star experience
" Breath Taking Views "
This was our second visit to Star No 5, and it was just as perfect as the first stay. Once you walk through the door to a beautiful apartment with everything you need for a home away from home and then you take in the most breath taking views - you will never want to leave.
The resort itself has lots to do, indoor basket ball, tennis, a full size pool table and the most amazing pool and slide. It accommodates all ages and keeps everyone happy. We enjoyed our lunch by the pool side cafe and finished the day off with dinner on our balcony to watch the sun go down.
Thank you Jess , We will be back !!
