Wonderful, charming and unique
We stayed for two nights with our two kids and friends from Sweden. The property was so peaceful, and Jenny and David were wonderful and accommodating hosts. The kids were enthralled with sleeping in a train, and the homemade breakfast was delicious. We hope to be back soon!
We may have only stayed one night but it was totally amazing! From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. Not only was there a cute sign infront of our room welcoming us by name, but also Jenny herself came down to welcome us and check the heaters were already on. Just perfect and caring service throughout, Jenny and David were the best hosts!!! The cabins/train itself to totally unique and very original yet had the modern comforts. Really loved our stay thanks again!
Jessi and James were delightful guests. It's always a pleasure to have guests who notice and appreciate the little things. We would love to have them stay again.
Novelty, Beautiful Views and Wonderful Hosts
We loved our two night stay in the Ambledown Book Train Carriage. Lovely accommodation with the perfect amount of novelty, comfort and beautiful views. A comfortable drive into the main city of Canberra. Wonderful hosts who could not do enough and provided a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended - we'll be back! Thanks, Jenny and David!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in this restored train carriage. Everything you need, breakfast provided in the main house, friendly hosts and great surrounds in the Yass Valley ensure a great holiday.
It was a pleasure to meet and have Robyn and her family stay with us. They were the perfect guests..friendly, interested in everything around them and left the train carriage as they had found it. We would welcome them back anytime.
