This gorgeous lakefront house features an open, comfortable floor plan designed to bring the outdoors in. Step onto the polished hardwood floors in the front foyer and look to waterfront views of Folsom Lake through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Start your day on a healthy note by working up a sweat in the attic gym while you wait for everyone to wake up. Following your workout, enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the patio furniture by the shoreline and look out at the 180-degree views of the lake! If you need to get some work out of the way, the spacious office upstairs is the perfect temporary workspace.
Before heading out the door, prepare breakfast in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen outfitted with sleek granite countertops, a 5-burner gas stove with a downdraft, a double gas/convection oven, and a huge walk-in pantry with plenty supplies to use throughout your stay! The 8-person dining table, as well as outdoor dining space on the deck, are both perfect places to enjoy holiday meals or special occasions.
After an adventure-filled day, unwind in the living room by watching your favorite movie on the flat-screen Smart TV with surround sound while the stone-surrounded gas fireplace warms the space. If you're traveling with any experienced piano players, have them set the ambiance with a tune and enjoy cocktails on the beautiful outside deck as the sunsets casting pink, purple, yellow hues on the water.
When you start to feel tired, retreat to one of 4 comfortably furnished bedrooms complete with either a king or queen mattress (the master has a California King!), unique artwork, and silky smooth sheets to rest up for the next day's activities! If you're looking for an extra dose of relaxation, draw a soothing bubble bath in the master bathroom and enjoy the lake views as you look past the two-sided fireplace. This property sleeps 10 guests in beds, including full-sized Euro sofa. Additional sleeping arrangements for up to 5 guests on foam mats with sheets, quilt and pillows as needed.

- Fantastic waterfront Granite Bay location situated on the shoreline of Folsom Lake - walking distance to hiking, biking, walking, running, and horseback riding trails, 15 minutes from the Westfield Galleria, 9 minutes from Granite Bay Golf Club, an hour and a half drive from Napa Valley and Tahoe skiing, ~2 hours from San Francisco and 36 minutes from the California State Railroad Museum, and close to a variety of delicious local restaurants & sites!
-For lightweight and human powered watercraft, they could be carried down to the lake from the house. For motorized boats or large sailboats, the Granite Bay Folsom SRA is around the corner 5 minutes away. If you are going in and out of the State Park often, consider buying a Poppy Pass on your first visit - good at ALL California State Parks.
There are local boat rentals. If you are towing your own boat/jetskis, please contact the owner to pre-arrange parking as it will not be at the property itself.

This is a 2 story home with the entry on the second level. The first floor- kitchen, living, dining room and 1 bedroom/bathroom are Accessible Only By Stairs. The home is on the edge of Folsom Lake and built on the side of a hill. The driveway down is ~20% grade concrete driveway. Parking is available at the bottom of the driveway - for guests who CAN BACKDOWN. Vehicles best for backing down are suvs, vans, trucks.

Folsom Lake access is through the back gate. Within walking distance,you can rent horses and boats. Or drive to Sactamento State Aquatic center to rent sail boats, or other non motorized boats.
It’s a short drive to old town Auburn or Old town Folsom if you’d like to experience gold rush history along with fine dining, antique shops and boutiques. Nearby, there are horse stables, riding trails, wineries, golf courses, whitewater rafting, water-skiing, kayaking canoeing, fishing, and camping. Lake Tahoe and it’s nearby ski resorts are just over an hour away, and San Francisco is only a couple hours away.
Note: We do NOT do any weddings or large events. However, Granite Bay Golf Club and Newcastle Flower Farm are great local venues which many of our guests have used. We can then host any of your guests at our property (like the bride’s or groom’s family, or even the wedding party), who may need a place to stay - our place is a lot better than staying in a hotel. Let us know if you are interested in having your guests stay at our place.

Custom home designed to bring the outdoors in - you find that out when you open the front door because right in front of you is an enormous two story high window looking out over the lake. It doesn't stop there. The kitchen with its wall to wall glass window - lets you be part of the outdoors while in the comfort of your kitchen. No one ever minds cooking or doing dishes!
If you need to conduct business, there is a spacious office which also offers spectacular views so you won't feel "alone" or left out. Many productive executive meetings and offsites have been conducted here.
Since 1997, we have loved all the seasons here - with all its different blessings and wonders. The summer is fun with outdoor activities and the lake can come up to the path right out the back gate. Fall with its spectacular harvest moons and sunrises of more colors than you can imagine. Winter with its electrical storm shows to be seen across the lake and the waves on the lake that inspire wind and kite surfers. Spring with buds on trees and wild flowers.
