The Cottage Jervis Bay is perfectly situated in Sanctuary Point, close to Hyams Beach (the whitest sand in the world), adjacent to Booderee National Park and a short walk from the shores of St Georges basin.There are lots of walks and water sports and close by is an excellent exercise park to get you fit.
The area has lots of activities including -
Diving - Jervis Bay has many diverse areas to explore with lots of rocky outcrops adorned with soft corals and sponge gardens. Between June and October you can join a tour to Bowen Island to see a migratory colony of Australian Fur Seals.
Whale watching, particularly in June and July, when you can view first hand the whale migration north. They make their return journey during the months of August to November.
Explore Booderee National Park including Cape St George Lighthouse, Green Patch picnic area, Cave Beach which is the areas' most beautiful surf beach and also the Botanical Gardens, displaying many native plants and birdlife.
Water Sports for the Energetic - Swimming, Fishing, Kayaking, Snorkelling and Sailing.
Food for the Foodies - Visit Huskisson for al fresco cafes and restaurants and retail therapy. Wineries and more restaurants at Milton and Berry, just a short drive away.
Local shops and St Georges Basin Country Club and golf course, with excellent dining facilities a short walk away.
