A little gem with thoughtful extra’s!
“The Views” is such good value. We spent 3 days here and were not disappointed. Our hosts sent a thorough email before arrival outlining helpful information for our stay. On arrival via a keypad we were greeted with chocolates, fresh fruit, bread, milk, eggs, juice, cereals, coffee and tea. The kitchen cupboard has a full array of condiments and every appliance you could need. The three bedrooms are beautifully done and the linen is of excellent quality. A real bonus is the Smart TV and Netflix is ready to go! There are so many thoughtful extras throughout the house including travel books and brochures, umbrellas, DVD’s and quirky antiques. We even picked strawberries from the front garden! We all slept well and the location is a bonus with a 2 minute drive to the shops or a 15 minute walk. The appeal of this 100 year old house is its charm and it has been tastefully renovated retaining its old world heritage. Thank you Ben and Adele we had a great stay!
Burnie is a excellent base for sightseeing the area, and penguins that come up on the beach. Ben and Adele are very communicative from booking and arrival and offer a quirky place with some beautiful pieces of furniture, rustic and a and homely feel, and styled tastefully. The place is spotless with all the utensils required, Ben and Adele go to great lengths to welcome you to their home with Netflix and a full cupboard and fridge of food for breakfast. A good car parking space and decking area to sit, the bed were very comfortable.
Brilliant little cottage
Great location, great facilities, comfortable and relaxing. Close to many sightseeing options. Penguins, waterfalls, platypus, shopping, beach, history and parks.
We loved the view!
Lovely clean property, easy walk to the town. Loved Adelle's styling. Great having the breakfast provisions. Enjoyed sitting in bed looking at the sea.
Very neat and clean but very noisy
This is a lovely little cottage. Very neat and clean. The owners are very gracious and filled the cupboards with foods for brekkie. Many thanks!!
We were disappointed that it was further from the beach than the photos indicated. I like to walk each day and it's a real buzz if i can do this on the beach as we live in the country but unfortunately this was not possible. We all found the location of the toilet a bit awkward
...just off the kitchen and very narrow doorway. The bathroom did not have a power point so running a power cord to the kitchen for the hairdryer made it dangerous. But the traffic noice of an evening and morning was frustrating. We were on holidays and really didn't need to be woken at 6.30am each day
Ben and Adelle were incredibly helpful. The accommodation was perfect - clean, modern with character abs close to town. This is the best place I’ve stayed in Burnie.
