wedding Weekend at Kolendo
We stayed at Kolendo from 11 to 15 April 2019 for our son's wedding which was held at Mount Lofty House. What a lovely setting. A lovely, clean and comfortable house for 6 people although we were only 4. We were very happy staying there and will certainly stay there again as it is central to all the beautiful places in the Hills. It has a awesome view itself and we
were mesmerised by the beautiful view over Adelaide and the ocean.
Thank you host Andrew for making us as comfortable as your could. Highly recommended!
Beautiful hills getaway
We had a wonderful stay, only problem was,we couldn’t stay longer.
Everything was,just as advertised.
Great location with a fabulous view and very clean and tidy
Overall we liked the place. Just a few little details that would make it perfect, like a bottle of wine and a welcome note would be a nice touch, but that’s just a suggestion not a complaint. The single bed mattress were a little hard. We loved the living area and the fabulous library.
Great views of the bush and City
Very clean and cosy. Fireplaces really make the difference on cold winters nights.
Rooms are really spacious.
A Beautiful View
It was a very comfortable house set in wonderful bush with a marvellous view. Very relaxing .
Great property with easy access to everything but also out of the way
We were a group of 3 couples who spent a fantastic 4 nights here. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out and enjoy the atmosphere of this property in the Adelaide Hills with its bushland and Adelaide city views. We had a surprise visit from a Kangaroo one evening that stayed around for quite a while enjoying the lawn. It was a bit cool while we were there but the fireplaces warmed the house up nicely and added to the atmosphere. It was a bit cold to enjoy the great deck overlooking Adelaide but we could see ourselves spending a lot of time there in warmer times. The location was great for access to all of Adelaide's highlights including the wine regions - it was nice using country roads and seeing all of the old buildings in the towns rather than facing the city traffic - but also easy to get into Adelaide itself. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
