Paula purchased this Studio in 2015
Why Paula chose Byron Bay
We love the unique location - in the heart of the town, yet secluded, private and quiet. We're right next to the markets, the beach and all the lovely cafes and shops.
What makes this Studio unique
The beautiful architecture of the studio is a total oasis in the heart of Byron Bay. Relax into the outdoor bath and take in the nature surrounding you.

Beautifully done studio close to the heart of Byron
Buhwi Bira Studio exceeded our expectations. Beautifully designed, super clean and tidy on our arrival, and decked out with everything we needed for our stay in Byron Bay. Loved the outdoor bath, and the bathroom area with floor to ceiling windows out to the courtyard area was something else.
The studio is a short 5 minute stroll to the main street of Byron, and not much further to the beach.
Paula was great to deal with, and was very helpful giving tips on places to see, things to do, and great sports to eat out at.
We highly recommend this studio for a romantic get away for a couple, can't get much better.
Thanks Paula :-)
Buhwi Bira was luxurious! The outside bath was an absolute treat.
Paul and Paula are generous hosts. The property was clean and beautifully presented.
3 nights a must. Perfect location, perfect weekend, completely relaxed. Would highly recommend and most definitely would return.
Beautifully designed property in a convenient location with extremely helpful and friendly hosts
Perfect way to celebrate a big birthday in Byron Bay. Buhwi Bira is lovely in all ways. It feels like a home away from home. Everything you need is provided and Paula is a great host.
We especially enjoyed the outdoor bath.
Would recommend highly and we will be back.
Great location for experiencing Byron the right way
I have been regularly visiting Byron for the last 10 years, this accommodation was perfect for parking the car for the week and just cruising around enjoying everything that Byron has to offer. The room was clean and tranquil, perfect to help you unwind and kick back into the Byron pace
Clean, bits & pieces supplied for our convenience. We loved our stay. Thank you
The reputation of this famous beach town precedes it to such an extent that first impressions may leave you wondering what all the fuss is about. What makes Byron special is the singular vibe of the town itself. It's here that coastal surf culture flows into the hippie tide washing down from the hinterland, creating one great barefooted, alternative-lifestyle mash-up.
The town centre is low-rise and relaxed, and the locals are dedicated to preserving its essential small-town soul. Its unique atmosphere has a way of converting even the most cynical with its long, balmy days, endless beaches, reliable surf breaks, fine food, raucous nightlife and ambling milieu.
A few of our favourite things to do in Byron Bay are:
Staying at the beach until sunset.
Eating at one of the many outdoor restaurants around the area.
Evening strolls through the CBD to take in the nightlife and grab some fresh gelato while listening to the many street musicians.
Walking the Lighthouse trail at sunrise and watching the whale migration (May-October).
Visiting the many markets in the area.
