Margaret Lewis purchased this House in 2002
Why Margaret Lewis chose Busselton
We purchased the property to provide us with an escape from a busy city life. We also get great pleasure seeing our children and grandchildren enjoy and build memories of wonderful family holidays at Busseltonia.
What makes this House unique
With high ceilings, wooden floorboards, character doors and windows, this lovely little home has much character and charm. We have decorated in an eclectic style of vintage and modern with interesting prints and a great range of books on the bookshelf. The slow combustion wood heater will keep you cosy in winter and three reverse cycle air conditioning units, cool in the summer. Pretty gardens at the front and back compliment the house. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of condiments in the Dutch dresser. Roses and veggies from the garden can be picked for your use. The close proximity of the beach front and the township makes for very easy access to all the facilities that will make your holiday relaxing and fun.

We (family of 4) stayed at the property for just over a week this July and found it one of the best and most relaxing holidays we have had. Busselton was a fantastic location to use as a base to explore the south west and this property was perfect. It was extremely comfortable and homely. The facilities / amenities were clean and well considered. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, the lounge relaxing and the meals area cosy especially with the fire going. The location of the house was perfect being just a short stroll from the foreshore and jetty whilst being only a few minutes from the main street and cafes.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a visit to "Busso" and surrounds.
Thank you for your kind review. We were pleased to have a family from Victoria at Busselton and trust you got to know our wonderful south-west region. With new direct flight services from the eastern states coming soon to Busselton Airport, it will be even easier for you to make a return journey in the future.
A wonderfully charming property and Margaret was so warm and welcoming as a host. 5 star!
A fantastic host, a fantastic property and a fantastic location. We had the most wonderful service from the minute we booked until the minute we checked out. The property is so perfect for a getaway to beautiful Busselton. Chopped wood for us, a vase or flowers on the table and a lovely note. The personal touches made it so much more special. The location was fantastic and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy getaway or a nice beach holiday. Love! Love! Love!
Thank you for your 5-star rating. Busseltonia is a great getaway house for many families with its close proximity to the town and beach foreshore. The cosy wood fire is a great drawcard in the winter months.

Beautiful House & Great Location
Really enjoyed our stay!
We think that Busseltonia is a really cozy and clean holiday home. We enjoyed the beds as they were really comfy and warm to sleep in. The amenities were great (especially the Apple TV). Thank you for making this home available.
Very well presented and is exactly as advertised.
We attended the National Police Bowling Championship at Bussleton Bowling Club. Ease of access was most important. Close proximity to shopping, seaside attractions and restaurants ticked all the boxes. A most pleasant stay in very comfortable surrounds.
Busselton is 232 kilometres south of Perth. Situated on the west coast of Australia's South West tourist region, Busselton faces north-west to the Indian Ocean and is on the shores of Geographe Bay where the ocean is very calm and sheltered. A French expedition by Nicholas Baudin in 1801, with his ships Geographe and Naturaliste saw the naming of Geographe Bay and Cape Naturaliste. BUSSELTONIA is an enjoyable 400-metre stroll away from this beautiful calm water bay. The foreshore has a stunning promenade interspersed with BBQ's, landscaped lawns and gardens and the delightful Goose Cafe. A meal on the verandah overlooking the sparkling waters of the Bay is not to be missed. For the younger members of your family, an international level skatepark is close by and a recently completed outdoor family entertainment and water playground area.
Explore the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere! From 1865 it took over 95 years to build and stretches 2km into the ocean allowing the colourful corals and fish to be seen without getting wet.The Busselton Jetty is home to one of only five underwater observatories in the world! Ride the new electric Jetty Train 1.7km out to sea, with 360-degree views across Geographe Bay, and take a tour through the Underwater Observatory at the end of the Jetty.
The Margaret River Wine Region is close by dotted with beautiful Wineries, restaurants and underground caves. Cape Naturalist offers stunning beaches, whale watching and great walking trails only 35 minutes drive away.
