Our guests love this very popular cottage so close to the beach and all the amenities of Port Elliot and Victor Harbour. It is spacious, contemporary, stylish and very comfortable. So close to the beach and amazing hills views from the back deck. The back yard is fully fenced so it is a wonderful space for children and pets.
Timber floorboards throughout the main open plan living area are light, cool and low maintenance. The new picture windows capture the amazing views of the Port Elliot Hills offering beautiful light at any time of day. Double doors from the living area open out on to the huge covered deck with modern bbq which is the perfect sheltered place to relax and enjoy this beautiful location and gorgeous northern aspect.
The new kitchen is part of the open plan living area and has all the mod cons including miele dishwasher (of course!). The home has reverse cycle conditioner plus ceiling fans for year round comfort.
Perfect for couples, small family groups and girls weekends away with or without pets! This is not a party or large group house.
There are three large bedrooms which are configured as follows:
Main - Queen Size bed (with ensuite bathroom)
Second - Queen Size bed and a trundle
Third - 3 single beds 1 is a bunk
Beds have sheridan quilt covers and linen may provided by a linen service at busy times of the year. Alternatively guests may bring their own.
The new ensuite bathroom with frameless glass shower screen is a highlight. Light, contemporary, and lovely. The large main bathroom and combined laundry has a separate shower and bath and has recently been updated.
Just one street back from the beautiful Chiton Rocks beach, this property is perfectly located for beach walks, swimming and surfing! Walk less than 100M and you are virtually on the sand! Great for bike riding too as right on encounter bike trail. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off when you return home.
The property is situated in Hayborough, right next to Port Elliot with it's cafes and shops. The closest town is Port Elliot, though Victor Harbor is only about 5 minutes away in the other direction. So it's perfectly centred to take advantage of the district centre offerings of Victor Harbor (supermarkets, cafes, pubs, shopping etc) but also the lovely cafes, walks, and more at Port Elliot.
