I have always lived in Melbourne & have choosen to live in Fitzroy North as I love the history and beautiful Victorian and Edwardian architecture of inner Melbourne, the community, the cafes and restaurants & the amazing parkland that we are surrounded by. I am currently working from home but when I'm not, I am out walking my golden retriever Harry in the nearby Edinburgh Gardens, cheering on the children who play football for Fitzroy and netball for Heights or enjoying a cup off coffee or glass of wine with friends.

Why Georgina chose North Fitzroy
We previously owned a smaller home a few streets away but as the children were desperate for a pet we needed more outdoor space. We love the area because it is quite but close to everything including amazing parks, transport, cafes and restaurants and because we love the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of North Fitzroy. After many years of looking we were lucky enough to found this amazing house. This house is over 130 years old and has retained most of its historical features including The Stables. Initially we thought The Stables would be perfect for visiting family & friends & then we thought why not welcome other people visiting the area. The Stables had already been converted to an apartment and we just freshened it up. The space works well as it is quite private from the main house and the neighbors but with a shared garden in-between. The Stables also have their own private access.
What makes this House unique
Essentially a small house with its own kitchen. Enough room to relax and unwind. Close to transport. A private space with a shared garden. Many of our guests bring their dogs. We have a mixture of guests who are holidaying in Melbourne from overseas or interstate, here for work or attending courses or conferences, visiting family or friends nearby and sometimes people who are escaping home renovations.
