A long weekend
If you want fancy or sophisticated this is not your place. It is however warm in winter with a fire and heaters, comfy bed, plenty of space and a cosy lounge room. It was too cold to be outside on the porch but it looked lovely. We enjoyed staying in such an old style cottage and would happily return.
Very Quaint and cute place to stay
This is probably one of the most quite places I have ever stayed, it was so peaceful. A great place to base exploring around the Maced Ranges and spa area. It was quite large inside. Lots of nice authentic touches for an original farm house. The only small issue was the floor is quite uneven and as you went from room to room you nearly fell over due to different floor levels but we just laughed. It would be the perfect place to go in winter to just curl up with a good book.
Cute, private cottage with loads of character
The cottage was very cute and had loads of history and character. It was great to be able to cozy up with the fire. There was also a funny goat there. Would definitely recommend.
Great stay. in a cute quaint cottage , we cranked up the fire place and didn't turn the tv on , it was great to get back to basics and have the whole place to ourselves to relax, thanks Catherine.
A step back in time. Enjoyable
Quaint & cozy
Old and quaint, suitable for families that like the country life. Very peaceful. Well equipt with electric heaters, but the best was the wood heater which made it very cozy. Be aware that you need to take all your own linen, which was not my idea of a holiday.
Hanging rock, mount Macedon, nearby villages ed, Maldon. Woodend
