100% recommended this cottage!
We stayed for 4 nights and loved staying here. Centrally located 20min walk into Hobart cbd. Great house with modern bathroom and stocked kitchen. Excellent heater- perfect for the cold nights. Both beds had electric blankets. Our stay was perfect! Peter met us at check in and left us with delicious locally made bread and jam. Highly recommend this place.
Really enjoyed our stay
Lovely place in a great location to spend a weekend with my two teenage sons. The house had all we needed for our stay. Good living area to relax in and great kitchen. Very easy walk down to Salamanca and to Sandy Bay shops. Highly recommended.
Old world charm
Good location with parking in the street. Peter met us and provided generous provisions which added to what was a comfortable stay.
Great location to the centre of Hobart & the Salamanca Markets.
Lovely cottage with a beautiful back garden, quiet surroundings and an easy 15 minute walk to Hobart
Peter was very welcoming and greeted us with a substantial grocery pack of very tasty bread, fruit, yoghurt etc. The cottage is charming, with a fantastic modern bathroom (best shower rose ever!) and a very well equipped kitchen. The walk to Salamanca Place was around 15 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet street and highly recommend staying here.
Absolutely perfect location. Beautiful garden. Comfortable and very well equipped. Quiet yet central
Easy walking to yachts and shops, buses and the CBD, Salamanca Market & Mona ferry. Lovely renovation and very clean. But .... we ladies like an extra towel if staying 4 nights and the odd cushion plus the 2 bedrooms aren’t really two so it is a perfect house for a couple or very close friends.
Despite the heat whilst we were there we came home to a cool house and that fabulous garden. An oasis of green with an overlooking deck. The abutting houses were very close but we found the place quiet and private.
But black-out blinds would be good in the bedroom area for those who want a sleep in. A beautiful filtered light fills the house but is just a bit bright for night owls in Summer.
We however thank Peter for his warm hospitality, maps and directions. And the fresh bread, milk, fruit & youghurt. Very considerate.
Thank you from Sally & Rob
