About this property

Conched Out is a beautiful 7 bedroom, 6 1/2 bathroom home located right on the border of Carolina and Kure Beach. This large home is oceanfront and has its own private beach access. Large kitchen and dining area with a dining room that seats 15! This gorgeous home comes with 6 bedrooms, all with different themes. Ground level has one bedroom, a 3-4 car garage and foyer. Main level has 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, kitchen and dining room and living room. The 3rd level has 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths and a living/family area with a sleeper sofa. Plenty of space for you and your family! 6 of the bedrooms have private bathrooms.

Great Summer Fun: Pleasure Island has many wonderful attractions to keep everyone happy. On Thursday nights, go to the boardwalk and hear some live, local music at the gazebo and see fireworks. We have one of the best fireworks display around. This is a weekly event during the summer. Don't leave the boardwalk without trying a Britt's Doughnut (ask anyone, they will tell you this is the best doughnut, ever, open seasonally).

On Sunday nights, grab your beach chairs, a cooler, and your family and come to the lake for a free outdoor movie. This is a great thing to do with your kids on a Sunday night. All movies are family oriented. They sell popcorn!

The aquarium offers a lot of fun, educational classes that relate to species found on our island. You might get lucky enough to see some baby sea turtles making there way to the ocean from their nest.

Hull annual family vacation

Great place. Had a wonderful time. Oceanfront is the way to go. Tyler was wonderful to work with. Would definitely stay there again.

Beach Vacation 2023

This is our second summer staying at this home - adults and teens. Plenty of room to spread out, the big table is ideal for playing games and enjoying meals and the proximity a quiet and not crowded beach is perfect!

Nice, slightly above-average, well-stocked beach house. Pros: * Good location * Amazing direct access to the beach * Great unobstructed view of the beach from the house * Lots of bedrooms rooms and en-suite bathrooms which is one of the main reasons we chose this particular property * Lots of seating provided inside and out * Pretty well-stocked kitchen * Property manager is responsive Cons: * The tap water is gross. It does not taste good and it was not always clear. I would bring bottled water to drink and cook with * Beds were not particularly comfortable, though not many I've rented have hotel-quality beds/bedding * House is starting to show the need for maintenance

We built our beach home in 2000. We rented it extensively from 2002-2013. 2010-2013 our home was listed with HomeAway. We stopped renting for the last several years, as we lived in it full time. Now our beach home is available for vacation rentals again! We are North Carolinian's, and are from the Raleigh area. We have established strong roots in the Kure Beach community over the last 19 years, and truly love it here! We think you will too!!!

Beachfront, private beach access, adequate parking, and convenient location make our beach home a great beach experience. Carolina Beach and Kure Beach provide a quaint yet active beach experience. It is not a Myrtle Beach type experience, it is an enjoyable neighborhood experience. Also being only 20+ minutes from the thriving historical, coastal town of Wilmington really expands the possibilities available to you during your vacation.
