Historic Clover Cottage Country Retreat, built in 1875, is a historic pioneer homestead of the Southern Forests region between Pemberton and Manjimup, Western Australia. The farm is nestled on the banks of the magnificent Warren River.

Grab a fishing rod and stroll down from your cottage to the trout filled lakes and try your luck. Our lakes are stocked regularly over the cool months from our own trout farm. Consider grabbing a canoe and paddling upstream to cast for red fin perch or maybe wander along the river bank and explore the pools and rapids on the property.
For the keen fly fisherman you can have a go at fishing on our exclusive fly fishing lake, which is open to guests at certain times of the year!

Clover Cottage is ideally located to explore the natural attractions of our National Parks, bird life, beaches, wineries or just being in 'the country'.
There is plenty to do on the property as well as in our surround ing Southern Forest.
Enjoy the serenity and sense of history on our 40 acre property, which was settled in the 1860s. The beautiful Clover Cottage has been restored and is surrounded by a cottage garden. and water features. An ideal place for a wedding ceremony!
Take a stroll along the river banks and take time out on our deck over the rapids for a glass of wine or a picnic.
Meet our quirky friendly farm animals and the amazing collection of native birdlife.

Historic Manjimup Heritage Timber Park with its very popular children's playground, historic hamlet, water features and gardens.
Venture down to Pemberton and discover Big Brook Dam, or take a tram ride through the forest or sample a few local brewery and wineries. Pemberton Timbermill Tours are available Monday to Thursday.
Book a Donnelly River Cruise and enjoy observing the diverse ecosystem of 12 km of of the Donnelly River to the river mouth, which is only accessible by boat.
Reserve a day to follow the Karri Forest Explorer Tourist Drive. Just follow the map and tune into the FM radio station and see some of Pemberton's and the Shannon Forest's best natural attractions.
Climb the fire look-out trees : The Diamond Tree lookout, The Gloucester Tree and The Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree.
Visit the local wineries: Hidden River, Mountford, Lost Lake, Silkwood, The Wine & Truffle Co. and Woodsmoke Estate are only minutes away.
Further south and enjoy a pleasant one hour drive to the stunning Tree Top Walk in the Valley of the Giants, near Walpole. Book a cruise on the Wild Over Walpole in the morning or take a detour to Mt Frankland and climb the 'mountain' and the venture out onto the sky walk. On the way to Walpole visit the Shwarbrick Art Trail.
Visit the new Bird Observatory at Lake Muir Nature Reserve. An elevated boardwalk leads 120m out over natural vegetation, swamp and wetlands, to a large viewing platform where you are greeted by a panoramic view of Lake Muir.
Pemberton Discovery Tours - jump on an organised tour to see the Yeagarup Dunes, beaches, towering Karri trees or wildflowers. Or perhaps a Wine Tour to visit local wineries, meet local vignerons and experience local wines without the worry of driving.

Take a scenic drive to Northcliffe, Windy Harbour, Salmon Beach and Mt Chudalup- a granite outcrop with 360 degree views.
Experience 4WD driving in the D'Entrecasteaux National Park for beach fishing or access to the Yeagerup Dunes.
