Newly renovated retro-style beach house is a private oasis in Old Ocean Grove. It is surrounded by native trees and bird life abounds in the garden. It is 1km walk straight down Aldebaran road to the beach and a 2 minute walk to supermarket, cafes and other shops. An indoor pool and sports centre with ovals is a 5 minute walk away.
There are 3 bedrooms inside the house (One with a queen, one with a double and the third with a double/single bunk and a cot set up.). All new beds and good quality mattresses. The living room is light and bright with polished floorboards and the kitchen is well-equipped (including high chair) and functional. The bathroom is completely new and has a walk-in shower and separate toilet. There's also a separate laundry. Furnishings are new, stylish and the minute you walk in the house you feel like you are on a beach holiday.
The family who owns this house uses it regularly and you are welcome to use whatever you might find such as the coffee maker, tea, sauces etc in the kitchen. You'll need to bring your own linen (top and bottom sheets, pillow slips, towels and tea towels). Doonas/doona covers, pillows are supplied.
There is a large back yard with great undercover outdoor eating/living area with a BBQ and very comfortable seating, as well as a beautiful garden and lawn area for kids to safely run around on. Dogs can be accommodated by negotiation ($50 extra per stay) as long as they are kept outdoors and you clean up the yard after them.
No need to take the car to the supermarket - it is only 2 minutes walk away. Pharmacy, cafe, fast food outlets, bakery etc are also within the nearby complex. It is a 1km walk to the beach or you can take the car down to the end of the road and walk over the sand dunes to the beautiful Ocean Grove surf beach.
Check in is at 2pm, and check out at 10am. I may be able to arrange early check in or late check out depending on other bookings.
Please note that there is strictly no smoking inside or outside.
