About Lauren Perry
I live in Melbourne with my husband and we are retired. Our son is in the Australian army in Adelaide and our daughter, son-in-law and grand-daughter live close to us. I'm originally from the UK and my husband from Gippsland. We spend our year mainly at home but also in the UK, Austria and Turkey for 3-4 months. We both enjoy the outdoors. Malcolm is a surfer and tennis player and I love hiking, kayaking and squash. Dalmeny is our piece of heaven.
Why Lauren Perry chose Dalmeny
We enjoyed many holidays in Dalmeny before we had children so had fond memories of the area. Over a handshake in the Maldives where we were celebrating Malcolm's 40th birthday with friends, we agreed to buy Yabbarra Sands once it was built and have never regretted the decision.
What makes this House unique
Dalmeny is such a quiet, unspoiled and beautiful corner. The surf is good, the ocean is as blue as blue and wildlife abounds. There is a beach to suit everyone and all weathers including many lakes and sheltered area for swimming, kayaking and canoeing. There are plenty of walks and places to explore, 4 wheel drive tracks, quaint towns, golf, cinema, boat trips, fishing, diving, snorkelling, cycling, arts and craft. The property is well equipped and a great place to relax if you feel like doing nothing at all except reading on the verandah and listening to the birds.

Wonderful in so many ways
Our family of 6 had a lovely time at Yabbara Sands. The property is great and had everything we could have needed. Dalmeny is such a beautiful part of the world. We loved swimming everyday (in late April) and the bike track is awesome, stunning views. Lauren was so easy and lovely to deal with, making everything a breeze (especially after our 2 year accidentally damaged a fly screen - apologies again)!!
Beautiful home, great location, very comfortable
Yabbara sands is a beautiful beach house and perfect for 4-6 people. It has everything you need and seems to have been recently renovated as everything seems new. It is very comfortable with 2 living spaces, and plenty of room for just hanging out, reading a good book or watching tv. The location is great - right across from the beach and close to shops and restaurants.
Lovely house, great location
We all enjoyed our stay, beach right across the road, very comfortable
Great for the whole family
A well kept property with everything a family needs. Close to beach, shops, cycle paths. Lots of fun :)
Yabbara Sands, a gem right on the beach. Sea breeze, comfort, modern amenities and a relaxed vibe.
Our stay over Christmas 2018 was the perfect family get away. Lauren was very welcoming and getting in and settled was as easy as the instruction provided. All you need is supplied, you just need your food, drink, beach gear a good book and some favourite DVDs to get you through the heat of the day. The house is comfortable, very clean, modern and right over the road from the beach. Other beaches are a short stroll or drive away. There is a fantastic bike path to Narooma and around Dalmeny, which is just as good for evening strolls. The highlight for us were the evening visits from the local Black Cockatoos - just beautiful. Highly recommend this as perfect coast get-a-way.
Beautiful views, perfectly positioned amazing winters sunrise and warm friendly locals
Our family enjoyed your wonderful house that is perfectly positioned for exploring. With a short stroll to the beach or a coffee and breakfast at the cafe. To flowing open bike paths to the 4wd teaks throughout the region.
We saw emu’s on the beach on our bike rides, wild seals basking in the sun down near Australia Rock.
The tourist drives were amassing, meeting so many people and experiencing cheese factories, vinyards, locally made products.
We will certainly return as soon as we can.
Our kids are already asking... when can we go back?
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful part or Australian with us.
