Our beautiful cottage is situated at the base of the amazing Grampians-Gariwerd
About Lindy Miller-Honey
I have lived in the Grampians area for the past 30 years and have owned property there for the last 20 so I know the area well. I have 3 grown sons and 4 grandchildren. My husband and I now live in Ballarat but are regulary in the Halls Gap area.
Lindy Miller-Honey purchased this Cottage in 2013
Why Lindy Miller-Honey chose Halls Gap
We owned a holiday home close by and the block where the cottages are came up for sale so we snapped it up. We employed a local builder with an awesome reputation and then set about the building process. It was a family affair with my dad doing the plumbing and we were very hands on with painting and landscaping etc. my boys who were teenagers at the time helped out too an learnt many lesssons along the way. We still love the area and try to stay there as much as possible. It is like a breath of fresh air and you feel all your stresses dissapear as soon as you arrive.

Comfort at the Gap
This 2 BR unit suited our needs for a short stay in Halls Gap during school holidays Travelling as a couple we found the unit clean and cosy. Bed was comfy and everything that we needed was supplied. The big surprise was how quiet we found our stay. Halls Gap during school holidays can be very busy but we found our accommodation to be very quiet even though we were only one street back from the main road. Lots of games, books and videos would keep a family with children going for days. Enjoyed the wood fire on one of the cooler nights. Overall a great - though brief - stay.
Comfy, clean and welcoming
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the large space for us to relax in.
So close to all the main attractions in Halls Gap and great communication with Lindy when organising our trip.
We had a lovely peaceful week at the cabin. Excellent location with local cockatoos regularly visiting. Clean kitchen with everything you need. Huge amount of board games & videos for entertainment. Suggestions for improvements...for a week stay our towels were in need of replacement and more than one tea towel was needed. Also, there were no electric blankets on the bunk beds which was needed on the chilly nights.
Location was misleading as the on-line map indicated the property was centrally located when in fact the property was further out and on the western (shady) side of the town. Signposting from main road was not easy to see in the dark. Whilst clean, the property is a little dated and the mustiness of bathroom/master bedroom prevented me from staying.
Great stay in Halls Gap
We had a lovely comfortable stay in Halls Gap. The cottage was warm, comfortable, quiet and clean.
Cosy and Warm
