Located on a dirt lane, charming old Queenslander on 12 Acres.
Why Angela Lisle chose North Deep Creek
The Heritage charm of this property is what makes this house special. It is a very old house. Matt and I are working hard to make updates. We provide fresh linen and towels, and all of the items required in the kitchen to make your stay enjoyable.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
It is hard to believe that this house was once owned by James Nash. We love the serenity of the property. The sound of the wind in the trees. There is plenty of wildlife around the property including possums, green tree frogs, tawny frog mouths, owls and bird life.

Overwhelming with the historical impact of this iconic homestead.
We loved the stay at Windermere House, to return in winter to experience that time of year, and we loved the chooks especially the rooster. Inside the house was also so traditional and warm and I couldn't get over the creaking of the floorboards.
A little run down outside but inside is quite nice. We had a great stay, so peaceful and quiet
Thanks for the feedback Marc, we do hope you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for looking after the property and leaving the place so clean and tidy.
Matt and I are updating the grand Queensland home. We are commencing work on a new roof, before we progress to the verandah, window replacements, polishing the hardwood floors and of course painting.
These old Queenslanders certainly are very romantic and hold their own character, we would love you to come back someday and see how we progress with the renovations.

There is so much to see and do around Gympie. The Valley Rattler is a fantastic place to stop for a coffee before crossing the road to browse the antique shop. The Gold Mine Museum will surprise you when you discover why Gympie is the town that saved Queensland. Gympie Southside has fantastic markets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. The Farmers Cafe is a must do for breakfast too. Day trips to Noosa, Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach are all in easy reach with plenty to see and do. Closer to home Mothar Mountain will make you feel like you have stepped into a waterfall wonderland.
Don’t forget to take a wander through the historic Mary Street boutique shops.
