A nice cottage in a lovely location
I spent a relaxing 4 nights at Glen Alice Farm.
The cottage had all the essentials and a well-equipped kitchen. Breakfast ingredients (bacon, eggs, tomatoes, cereal) were provided including a freshly-baked loaf of bread.
A quiet location with nice views of the Capertee Valley. Attractions in the area include Capertee, Rylstone, Glen Davis and Wollemi National Park. Plenty of opportunities for birdwatching. Or a nice spot to just sit on the verandah and not do much.
Dianne and Roger were friendly and easy to deal with and were available if there were any problems (there weren't).
So good- even the 2nd time
This was our second time at the property and we loved it as much as the 1st - privacy, beautiful views, relaxing and a beautiful base to explore the area.
Peace and quiet
Wake to the sound of birdcalls. Spectacular canyon scenery. 2 nights without wifi or phone signal. Just what we were looking for.
We loved the peace and quiet as we watched fairy-wrens from the verandah. The cottage was cosy with plenty of space for all our kuggage. We really liked the freshly-baked bread and other groceries which had been left in the fridge for us to use.
It was our pleasure to host you in the cottage, hope the rest of your trip went well and that our country looked after you both. Our very best wishes to you both, R & D
