Nice And Big
This place is spacious and well layed out. A little weary but still OK for a family get together- Games room is great and kept us all entertained. The short walk to the shopping precinct was excellent with a number of eating options. Not easy walking distance to the beaches but that was made up for with the close proximity to the Woolamai Bar and Grill for afternoon Happy Hour visits. Only suggestion would be a couple of new pool cues and clearer instructions re accessing Netflix. But all in all we had a great week.

We have provided information on the website description as to the proximity of the beach as well as a clear picture showing the route to the beach. The house is not promoted as being on the beach or very close to the beach so we are not sure why you would mention this negatively.
New pool cues have now been purchased for this property (Jan 2019).
You mentioned clearer instructions regarding viewing Netflix. We provided you (and every guest that stays at this property) with an attachment of these instructions which are extremely clear and user friendly. I checked the correspondence and we did send this attachment. We are sorry that you did not see it.

Finally, we do not feel as though this house is weary.. it's a comfortable beach house that is not trying to be anything but what the photos depict.

We had a lovely weekend away enjoying the lovely quiet location with beaches and local cafes in walking distance. The house we stayed in was also lovely but we did have a few minor issues such as no house number on the high fence so arriving in fading light it took a few 'drive bys' to finally find the house. Arriving and unpacking as a chilly night closed in we attempted to get the Coonara fire going - while there was plenty of large pieces of red gum wood there wasn't any kindling or fire lighters and only a nearly empty box of small matches and no fire side tools (poker, etc.). When we ventured into bed for warmth we found the doonas and blankets supplied were only light weight and suitable for summer use only. After a chilly night we ventured into Cowes for fire lighters and had a much warmer stay after that. I would suggest that it should be made clear that 'light weight/summer bedding' only is supplied and to ensure that all supplies are kept well stocked for lighting and maintaining a fire as there was no other heating in the main house. Other than that we did enjoy our stay and the teens made good use of the separate rumpus room and I thoroughly enjoyed my beach walks and local coffee.
Thank you for your feedback Sue it is greatly appreciated. We have now placed new house numbers on the fence so that the number of the property is more visible. We have also implemented a fire starting kit, including a long stemmed lighter and some kindling so that guests can get a fire going as soon as they arrive at the property. We were a little confused by the comment about "no other heating" though as there is a split system air conditioner (heater) in the main living area upstairs. The owners have now purchased some new winter doonas for all the beds along with some extra blankets. We are confident that all future guests will be warm enough during the cold winter months.
