Long weekend family escape
Great house very clean and comfortable with enough utensils for us all. Close enough to walk to the beach or local shops for a coffee. Shame we didn't realise that the rumpus room downstairs wasn't connected to the house without going outside. Overall we had a great stay here
Accommodation was great and spacious
The accommodation was very spacious and filled with a lot of activities. Lacked a few amenities and we wished it was clear that the top and bottom story was connected with stairs that are outside of the building, which made it a bit difficult to track the kids.
Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay and the house was big enough to accommodate for our big group.
Really great place with all the extras of a five star accommodation do think it would benefit from a couple more wardrobes and drawers in the downstairs area and upstairs

Great Family-Friendly Stay!
We had a brilliant time - the kids loved the games room, and the adults loved the hot tub! The perfect combination. Very clean, well fitted-out and well maintained property - we loved it! Enough cafes and sights around to make the location good, and it was a lovely, quiet area to stay. Chocolate factory just around the corner, awesome beaches close by - what more could you want!!! We will definitely be back to stay again. My only feedback would be that it would be great to have shelves or drawers in the cupboards for clothes. Kids mainly wear fold-up stuff, so we ended up living out of the suitcase. Also, I couldn't figure out how to open the keylock at all (even with correct combination entered) - only my 10yo son could figure it out, so might need updating!
Great property in a lovely location
We loved our stay at this property. Had plenty of space for the kids and adults. Both kitchens were well equipped for entertaining, lots of beds for all of us and we loved the spa! The property was well maintained and super clean on our arrival. Great location, walking distance to beach and cafes.
We would highly recommend this property.
A great house for a family beach holiday
This was overall a great house for a relaxing family visit to Phillip Island. The spa was a hit with everyone, especially the kids. Outdoor decks and living space are pleasant and meant there is space to spread out for a large group.
The main living area and kitchen are large and clean and newly renovated, though a couple more seats or couches wouldn’t go astray. The kitchen downstairs does not actually have cooking facilities, but gives extra options for breakfast and storing drinks and snacks etc.
Downstairs is self-contained and comfortable - good for anyone who needs their own space while staying with a larger group.
A few toys and games, as well as boogie boards and other toys in the garage, are included and come in handy. No trouble with the wireless and Netflix.
The only smaller drawbacks were:
- Lack of any blinds in the living area which meant a lot of glare and heat coming through the windows (although the aircon is very effective so with that on, the area didn’t heat up).
- Poor curtains in the upstairs bedrooms which barely blocked the light, making it hard to put kids down to bed and meaning light and heat in the early mornings during summer. We ended hanging sheets up to try and block some of the light. The blinds in the downstairs are very good, it’s a shame these aren’t through the whole house.
- The new tri-bunk is fairly rickety and lower bed was uncomfortable for two adults.
- Spa got slightly murky after a week, some instructions for maintaining it or changing the water would be handy.
Hi Kathryn, thank you for your review, we appreciate all feedback. We are thrilled that overall you and your family enjoyed the property. We would like to let our future guests know that the couches at the property have since been upgraded and there is now more seating in the upstairs living area. The downstairs kitchen (which is a secondary kitchen) is not designed for cooking. The upstairs main kitchen has all cooking facilities as any normal kitchen would. New blinds upstairs are being implemented very shortly. The other curtains mentioned have been fixed. As per the information we provide to all guests prior to their arrival, mid stay spa cleans are available if you are staying for longer than five days.
