Beautiful eight bedroom, eight bath lodge just minutes from Black River.

This beautiful property has plenty of space for a large family or a family reunion. It would also be great for a business retreat, weddings, or wedding parties.

Each bedroom has its own large bathroom. The property is handicap accessible. There is a large patio in the front of the lodge with plenty of seating. Four tables in the dining room for meals.

A condo with three more bedrooms, four baths and a small kitchen can be rented separately.

Parking available. Grassy area located in front of the lodge to play outdoor games.

This facility is perfect for large families, family reunions, hunting trips, and also a possible wedding facility.

Senior citizen float trip accommodation

This place was absolutely perfect for us, age 55 to 72! Very spacious and each bedroom has its own bathroom! We enjoyed making our meals in the large kitchen, eating together in the great room, sitting outside on the patio and firepit. We all loved it, and can’t wait to return.

Great reunion location

This is the 3rd year our family has stayed here for our reunion. Everyone appreciates having their own bathroom and mini-kitchen. The large kitchen makes meal prep for a group easy. And there's plenty of gathering space. Great experience overall.

Excellent for a large family

We enjoyed staying in this property. Perfect place for a large family. We visited 3 state parks during our stay which were less than 30 minutes from the cottage. I would recommend this for a family getaway!

Grreat Place

We love this place! Its clean, and is perfect for all of our group (10 females.) We hang out and visit with eqch other in the evening, and have a big breakfast together in the morning. This place is perfect for our group!

Great place for group get together

The property was perfect for our group of 11 and everyone had their own room and bathroom. The kitchen is huge and has plenty dishes, utensils and cookware. The great room is also huge with plenty of space for gathering. Also ample seating provided on the outside patio. We visited for a float trip and the location was perfect and close to the raft rentals.

Prefect place for us

We filled the 8 beds this year and it worked out prefect. Canoe outfitter picked us up at the house. We got to float all day and then all have dinner together at one table. Our 3rd year and another great trip.

Great rental for a group

We rented this property for a three-night stay for a small church youth group. It was perfect for our needs! The house was large, clean, and well-provisioned. We loved that each bedroom had an attached bathroom. It was close to several outdoor activities that we enjoyed: canoeing on the Black River, hiking, visiting nearby state parks. We highly recommend this rental.

Lesterville’s

Great out doors, swimming, hiking, playing games, cards with a place like home. We love the individual bedrooms and your own bathrooms. The kids could find just the right amount to walk on or swim in the river. The kitchen was loaded with every gaget we needed. It would nice to be closer to the river. The Kings

Biker haven

This was an absolutely perfect house for my friends and I.8 men each with are own private bathrooms,, kitchenette in every room, large stocked kitchen for making breakfasts and dinners, great parking, great sitting area inside and out. We Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Relaxing

We had two different groups, my husband and my children and their families for the first part of the weekend and my siblings the 2nd half of the weekend. There was something to do for all ages. Great family time.

Family Canoe trip

The place worked out really well for our big family. It was nice and has all the amenities of home. We were unable to log into their wifi during the entire stay. Most of the dvd players didn't work which kind of sucked when some people wanted to watch a movie in bed. The website shows twin beds in one or two rooms but there are no twin beds. Overall it was a good time. Thank you Shepard's Place.
