You’ll have 50 square meters to make your home for the duration of your stay, complete with an open kitchen and living area, one bedroom, one bathroom, and a spectacular balcony to cozy up on with a glass of wine and the stunning city lights of the Central Valley twinkling in the distance.

The windows have black-out shades for you to enjoy your beauty rest in either the queen bed or the comfy couch that serves as a small single bed. My name is Alex. I'm a tico who has lived most of his life abroad. At the age of 17 I moved to the US. There I lived in South Carolina for 5 years and in South Florida for 12 years. Since 2008 I live in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands where I work in project management of large infrastructure projects.
In 2018 I married my partner Kees and together we bought this apartment in San José. Although I left a long time ago, San José and Costa Rica are still home to me and I am happy to share our little piece of Costa Rica with other travelers.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because of location, location, location. I was convinced that we should invest in a property where we also would be happy to live in. This building is walking distance to the center of the city and easily accessible with public transportation, which makes having a car unnecessary (and traffic in San José is no walk in the park). It also offers many amenities among which security, pool and gym were a must. The apartment is walking distance to some of the best gastronomy and night life in the city and when.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is also thoughtfully decorated with comfort and convenience in mind. It includes:
Dishwasher: no one wants to wash dishes on vacation (or ever).
Black-out shades: the sun comes out very early in Costa Rica. What's the point of having nightlife around you if you can't sleep in?
Wi-Fi, Smart TV and Chromecast: stay connected and don't miss your favorite shows.
The view: afternoon sun, beautiful sunsets and city lights!
