I received quick responses leading up to my trip to St. Crioux from the property owner. After arriving to the condo and reaching out to share my disappointment of the property, I never heard back from the property manager/owner. Upon our families arrival, it was brought to our attention by the cleaning service that our unit in all the common areas, i.e., living space, kitchen, sitting area, etc. did not have A/C. She expressed this is a common occurrence when guests arrive - guests aren't aware of the entire condo not having A/C and that we should ask more questions.... She then began apologizing.... Wall units were in the three bedrooms, again, the quality of the unit was not pleasing. The refrigerator had alot of rust on the outside of the doors, the walls around the A/C units in the bedrooms had rust, some areas of the walls had falling off sheetrock - the shower faucets had alot of rust in two of the bathrooms... The beach on the property was very rocky, so my family and I didn't enjoy the beach - we did enjoy the pool area (I could've swam in a pool at my residence, so this wasn't worth the trip to St. Crouix). I felt somewhat safe on the property, however, didn't feel safe anywhere else. Our family found the people in the restaurants were very rude - the Beach Shack on the Gentle Winds property served decent food, however the service was terrible - very rude.... as if they hated the job and were miserable. Our family was shocked most of the stay and couldn't wait to return back to our home.
Maybe if we were at a different property, we would've had a better experience.
