Awesome room with a view
Such an amazing experience, walking distance to fun, food and shopping, something for everyone, the room was clean and comfortable, the kids really loved the lazy river, the beach was fantastic but somewhat crowded but the breath taking sunrises were inspiring, the next time I'm in Dayton Beach it's where I want to be. Absolutely loved it..
One of the best
Very pleased with my stay. I felt at home! The condo was the perfect touch for a beach stay getaway.... especially with the ocean front view. The front desk was amazing! Everything was amazing!
ANT PROBLEMS on kitchen counter
Before I booked this location for our family vacation I read the comments and I saw a review about an ant problem, now I gave it the benefit of the doubt because that’s something that can be dealt with and everything else looked great.
The ants were everywhere on the kitchen counters so it made cooking tough. Front desk couldn’t do anything about it. It was just gross. Also the AC doesn’t work well, the water barely heats up in the morning.. probably going to be getting a different condo next trip :/

We would have loved to assist you with these issues at the time so that they could be rectified immediately. The front desk is not affiliated with Vacasa, however, we have a 24/7 customer service number that guests can contact at any time, that is located in confirmation and check-in emails along with guests' trip portals. The A/C has been serviced and pest control routinely maintains this property. Do note, sugar ants are common in Florida and if you leave goods out it can attract them. The hot water heater has been checked out. We hope to host you again in the future!
The best location for our trip
We were visiting Daytona Beach to attend the National Collegiate Dance Competition which was held at the Convention Center across the street. The beds in the bedroom were comfortable enough but the mattress on the pullout couch was torture on everyone who took turns sleeping on it. While we had 6 people staying the entire 5 days, the 6 small bath towels were just not enough, as we were all moms and 20 something daughters with longer hair that needed a towel just by itself.
We also were left one spare roll of toilet paper and a half a roll of paper towels. We did call and were brought some more to take care of the issue.
We did have a wonderful time though and will stay at the Oceanwalk Wyndham again, but maybe in a bigger unit next year. We still have 2 more years of watching our girls dance for Purdue University.

Great views, but not the cleanest unit
I’ve stayed at this property before but this unit wasn’t the cleanest. Bathroom was pretty gross (shower curtain was gross, door doesn’t lock, no hooks for towels, in need of some serious updating). Ant problems on kitchen counter, beds pretty hard. Towels had a bad smell to them. Had to wash everything before use. My kids feet and socks were BLACK! carpets need to go or need to be cleaned ASAP! Would not stay in this unit again.

Great views but this unit wasn’t the cleanest. I’ve stayed in other units before. Ant problem in kitchen counter, beds were pretty hard. Batrthrrom and shower curtain were pretty nasty. Bathroom door didn’t lock. No hooks for towels (when you have 4 kids need somewhere to hang towels). Towels stunk, had to wash them prior to using. Carpet needs a cleaning. My kids had BLACK feet. Unit is in need of some undates.
