We had a great time the set up Inside and outside was perfect. Kristen made the experience from booking, arriving and our stay here very easy, she is very accommodating. I would not hesitate to come back to this property.💞💞💞💞
We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a plus that we could swim in the canal in the back and also canoe around. We were close to everything we love, Bahia Honda and Key West. Great restaurants in the area too. Definitely would stay here again, and highly recommend it.
GREAT PLACE AND TOWN TO STAY IN
enjoyed our stay
Even though there were a couple of bleeps when we got there as no one had been there for some months, everything was taken care of for us. We will definitely stay there again next year. We had our boat with us and had lots of room to back it up in the drive. There is a nice boat launch in the state park and 2 nice ones in Marathon. We got an email just before we left with a list of what all the light switches turned on and off. That was nice. Nice neighbors.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We look forward to having you back next year!
Well equipped and maintained house in super convenient location. Close to Key West, Bahia Honda and many other Keys sites. Lovely sunsets. Very close to highway, but set back so you don't hear noise. Will definitely return!
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay!
Spacious, comfortable and conveniently located
We had a wonderful stay at the house from June 28 to July 28. The booking process worker well, and owners always responded quickly to our questions before arrival. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised, the house is better than the photos on the listing, much brighter, and a new deck had just been added. The house was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, including 2 kayaks, linens, and towels. We put the kayaks to good use, paddling on the canal, which we were surprised to find to was blocked off from the ocean; but you can portage the kayaks over the little dam. The canal is clean( swimable) and full of fish, including some sizable snook and tarpon, which were great to watch with the underwater lights at night. The lack of direct ocean access proved to be a plus for us, as it made us launch our boat from the many free boat ramps available in the various keys, so we were able to explore a much wider area. We enjoyed walking through the many residential streets in the evenings to see the gorgeous sunsets and the key deers grazing everywhere. As well, we used our bicycles to see the backroads of nearby keys, and sampled the coffee and pastries all along the way.
All told, a month flew by. We had a great time, and enjoyed staying at this house. We would recommend it to others.
