Upon entering, soothing tans and sea glass blues are so inviting, and are stunning with the dark floors, reminiscent of a day on the Boardwalk. The Living Area is inviting with oversized comfy furniture, Flat Screen Streaming TV with Sling, and Free WiFi - the perfect place to relax after a fun-filled day at the Beach. The Kitchen and Dining Area are light and bright with fun Coastal Accents, Custom Glass Tile Back Splash, and the prettiest Starfish Pendant Light. Well-stocked with all you need, you find meal prep a sea breeze!

Down the Hall, Bedroom 1 has a comfy Queen Bed and gorgeous Coastal Bedding. Bedroom 2 also has a Queen Bed, with serene decor that makes you feel like you never left the Beach. A Full Bath with Tub/Shower Combo is on the this floor. Wandering upstairs, you'll find a huge Master Bedroom with 2 Full Beds, Flat Screen TV, and a fun Nautical Theme in bold colors of red and navy. The Master Bath is beautifully decorated and also has a Tub/Shower Combo.

Lighthouse Estates is a super popular Community on the quieter side of the Island. Visitors love being about to stroll to the water's edge and enjoy Views of the Lighthouse. There is also a Public Boat Ramp nearby perfect for launching your boat, kayaks, or other water toys. Chill by the Pool and take in Views of the Assateague Channel or try your hand at Crabbing from the Community Dock. Whatever your pleasure, you're sure to find it at delightful Dancing Plover!

Extremely Disappointing

One of the reasons we booked this property was because from the photographs it appeared updated and clean. Upon arrival, however, we found the house had only been partially updated and that it had an obvious water problem. The property reeked of mold, mildew, and must. There was mold on the upstairs bathroom ceiling and in the seam of the shower insert; rust and mold spores growing in various vents; and mold and/or mildew on the first floor shower liner, wall, and corner. There was a dehumidifier that we had to empty each day, which required climbing over a couch and behind a table to reach. One of our family members has allergies, which were triggered, and she suffered symptoms the entire stay. After leaving, we had to launder our clothes several times to remove the odors. The house also had a steady stream of ants in the kitchen and living room. We did attempt to work with the property owner and property manager about our concerns to no avail. We also attempted to find a comparable rental (updated; 3 BRs; 2 BA with one BR and BA on first floor) to move to, but there were none available. We have been coming to Chincoteague for many years and have never had any issues. As stated above, this stay was extremely disappointing.

Excellent property!

I’ve been coming to Chincoteague since I was a little girl. It holds a very special place in my heart and feels so much like home. My sister and I are both grown with families of our own, but we decided to give a VRBO property a try so we could all stay together. Our experience with VRBO and Seaside Vacations was second to none. The entire process couldn’t have been smoother/easier/more streamlined - seriously, no detail went missed. I received every detail I needed to know well in advance of our trip, but was reminded of them several times leading up to it. A few days prior, I received the info about check in and how to enter the home. We were greeted with an amenities bag. The list of positives could seriously go on. All of our expectations were exceeded. The property is exactly as pictured and provided plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 children (2 under 2 which I got permission from the owner to bring along). The location is perfect - the pool is close by and offers views of the lighthouse, and the home is just down the road from a large park/playground and fishing pier! We loved this property and we loved the process, but most importantly, we loved our vacation and miss it already. We will be back and cannot wait!

Even better than pictured!

This tidy, well-located property was perfect for two parents and a 14-year old. The pool is a real bonus and honestly much more attractive in person than as pictured! This is one of the cleanest, most well-maintained properties we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend!
