We did not receive the check-in email from the management company until after we arrived to the property, after we had been shopping for groceries/supplies, after we had attempted to navigate through their terrible phone system that inevitably dumps you into a voicemail box that will never be answered and after several emails - which were answered as we stood in front of the house, sweating, trying to figure out how to get in. Once finally inside, the house was exactly as pictured and is a great location in the neighborhood. The house was relatively clean, minus baseboards being dusty. Upon inspection of the house, there was a lot of damage including broken vertical blinds, broken & damaged decor (shattered glass candle holder that was dusted, candle removed to the side and left in master bedroom by cleaners??) and a ripped and damaged chair. I suppose this is considered "normal wear and tear" and based on how the property seems to attract VERY big parties into each home (very cost effective to split amongst 3+ families but detracts from the property itself). If you are planning on cooking meals - good luck. We found no baking sheets, no oven mits, no dish towels. Had we known by being able to read the email that was not sent to us until after we arrived, that may have changed our cooking plans/shopping list. So we managed with the one single dish rag provided as an oven mit and we used a cake pan to bake in the oven. The resort pool was always our draw to this particular neighborhood, it is beautiful and well kept, but due to the size of the neighborhood and HUGE parties renting, it becomes very crowded with groups of people oblivious to other people around them. The last time we visited, we were able to purchase refillable drink cups from the pool bar and bring them back each day. That is no longer the case, the pool management prohibits you bringing ANYTHING but bottles of plain water. So those $20 refillable cups you bought yesterday? They go the landfill and you get to buy a new one everyday you are there! So, if you are looking for a bargain vacation home in a great location to Disney Parks, with an amazing pool that has inconsiderate guests and will bleed your wallet of all the money you are saving on the home rental, with a relatively clean house that is battered and bruised with absolutely no cleaning or cooking supplies, this is the one!!
