**UPDATE** While most of my reviews reflect one room, I have since opened the entire house to accommodation. There are now three bedrooms (1 queen, 1 queen, 2 twin), two bathrooms, and full kitchen/living space.**

Cozy home in Vero

Small home in an older part of Vero Beach. The location is near old down town that is undergoing a revitalization process. Neighborhood is okay, but not a good place to go for a walk. No sidewalks or anything. Quick drive over to the island and the beach. If you are planning to stay to make meals and cook, know this is a very small kitchen. Functional, but I didn't attempt to cook in it beyond using the microwave.

THREE and A HALF STARS This review really applies to long term renters, more than a week. For 2-4 adults for a week or less, the rental is fine. 5 min car ride to the beaches, quiet area, rental is small but cute, some stores and restaurants near-by, easy access to others over the bridge to the beach area. The owner did respond quickly to kitchen sink leaks. For longer term rentals—ours was 25 days—one main problem is lack of storage for clothes and food. Closets are very small, one opens up to back of washer/dryer. Love fresh air but another problem is none of windows on front of house have screens, so bugs get in, esp at night. Other screens are ill-fitting. The couch—really a loveseat— is not great and has stains over a large part. The kitchen sink leaked twice, the first time was on day one from prior renters—a large cooking bowl under the sink was full of grey water, shelving warped from prior damage. Front deck needs repair/ replace. If 6 adults are there—using the 3 bedrooms—there are only 4 seats in the living room. Kitchen does have barstools. It could be a really cute rental with some updates and maintenance.

Bright, comfortable dog friendly cottage in a great location. Quiet neighborhood in Rockridge. Close to beach, shopping and restaurants.
