A country lodge with a peaceful setting

Our country home/lodge is nestled on several secluded acres of meadow and woodland. Our large field is home to wildflowers and wildlife. The large bay windows and large porch allow for the most relaxing atmosphere inside and out! The home has a full patio , along with a custom built fire pit and comfortable chairs surrounding.
*Gas grill, lawn games, and trail walk all complement a relaxing retreat to country living.
*Bicycle along through the Salem County farm country.
*Canoeing and kayaking in the Salem River.
*Horse back riding/ horse care can be arranged nearby.
*Cowtown Rodeo, one of the oldest rodeos in the country is just down the road as is the lovely Auburn Road Winery.

fantastic house and hosts

The accommodation is great for a relaxing stay with a great games room to keep the teenagers occupied. We had to change our arrival time for family reasons and the hosts were extremely helpful and understanding and accommodated our needs. Shame we couldn't stay longer.

Wonderful getaway

We stayed here for a weekend while visiting family in the area and couldn’t have been happier.The home itself was well stocked with everything you could need to cook if you wanted and it was a nice touch that they supplied coffee and bottled water!Beds and furniture were all comfortable and the home was clean and beautifully decorated.But possibly the best part yet was the outdoor area. The large yard featured an outdoor fire pit which we were able to enjoy every night. It was a relaxing, peaceful stay and we can’t wait to return!

Beautiful private home!

The property was great for our family to get together for my neice's wedding. We were able to make dinner, play games and spend time on the porch. The property is beautifully furnished and very clean! I hope I have another chance to visit here in the future.

Weekend Getaway

Had a good time on our visit. Property was very accommodating and has many amenities. Enjoyed sitting on the back patio watching the sunset and playing some pool and ping pong in the basement game room. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend!!

South Jersey Gem

We have family in Swedesboro and when we come to town for celebrations we generally wind up in the sub par hotels off I295. This time we opted for a VRBO and we are so glad we picked this one. The house is spacious. The owners were easy to communicate with and very gracious in letting us check in early. There are towels, sheets, pillows and snuggly blankets galore. The porch is lovely, the fire pit area is so enjoyable. We did not have time to walk the trail, but the kids did play baseball on the expansive front lawn and they also had fun in the basement game room.So much better than those worn out hotels! Thanks for a great weekend!

Rodeo weekend with the boys.

Beautiful little house with a large secluded property. Firepit and gameroom in the basement are a great bonus. Would rent this property again for sure!

This house in the country was so beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything you would need. A very relaxing atmosphere, my family and friends had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the house and lots to do in the area! The owners are very easy to reach out to for any reason . Peaceful retreat

Relaxing and peaceful

John and Cheryl are exceptional hosts. The home provided us with the relaxation we needed. Coffee with the deer and squirrels in the morning was a great way to start the day.

John & Cheryl were incredible hosts, could not recommend their property enough! Communication was very quick and they were accommodating to a couple extra beds in the house. Would absolutely visit again.
