The views are breathtaking and if you leave your windows open at night you are sure to hear the waves. Enjoy an early morning walk on the beach or fishing in the lake. There is always something to do, or enjoy the tranquility and do nothing at all. 5 minutes from one of the nicest beaches in Nova Scotia, our cozy, clean cottage, offers great sunrises. It is quiet, private and situated right by a lake, the ocean, a provincial park, and the Trans Canada Trail, how could it get any better?

Lovely home.

We enjoyed the home - small but sweet kitchen, comfortable beds, nicely decorated, not crowded with 6 of us - even with one washroom. We also found it very nice to walk the nearby trails by the water! It was quite a drive into Halifax and other sites, but a pleasant drive both ways.

Wonderful Place to stay

Our family had a wonderful time despite the weather not working in our favor. The cabin was furnished really well and made family vacation one to remember.

June 2023 Misty Boat Cottage Trip

We arrived at the Misty Boat Cottage and the place was even better than the pictures. The inside of the cottage is lovely and very well kept, and the outside is so spacious and relaxing. We faced Porters lake and just down the road (15min walk) was Lawrencetown beach. It’s so close to the ocean, we could hear the waves crashing on the beach from the cottage each morning. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming Cottage

This charming cottage was just perfect for our stay in Nova Scotia. It is so comfortable, clean and well appointed. There was a great beach just at the end of the road and the deck with its view of the lake was a great place to just sit and relax.
